WWE to hold tryout camp, new names in developmental

WWE will be holding a new tryout camp featuring around 15 amateur wrestlers that Gerald Brisco has personally scouted. WWE’s Canyon Ceman has also been scouting in Colorado Springs looking at various Olympic athletes. As reported on earlier, Jim Ross recently met with the National Football League Players Association about creating some kind of a relationship with players cut by NFL teams.

Some new names are also in WWE developmental. Ryan Drago, a Missouri independent wrestler, is heading to Florida. He was originally trained by Harley Race. Northeast independent wrestler Smith James is also heading to developmental and made the announcement on Twitter not long ago. He was trained by former ECW Champion and current TNA commentator Taz.
