Mike Johnson is reporting that an arrest warrant has been issued in Meckleberg County in North Carolina for WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, The warrant was issued back on July 3, 2013 for contempt of court after Flair failed to adhere to a June 2013 judgment against him that would require him to pay nearly $33,000 in legal fees and support to his most recent ex-wife, Jacqueline Beems.
This in reality is the real reason Flair was not able to attend the Carolina Panthers NFL game this weekend so that Flair would not run the risk of being arrested in a public forum. Flair has resided in Georgia with his current girlfriend and in Florida with former WCW star Joe Gomez since the warrant was issued against him back in July. While the charge on Flair is a misdemeanor, the warrant calls for Flair’s immediate arrest and that he cannot be released until he pays the complete amount of money he owes.
