Cam Carson, a DJ in Winnipeg, has been fired by Power 97 according to a report by Dave Meltzer. Carson was at a WWE live event a few weeks ago in Winnipeg and slapped WWE star Batista (Dave Bautista) on the back at ringside behind the barricade. Live reports indicated that Batista shoved Carson back and security quickly confronted him. Carson at one point tried to hop the barricade and was thrown out of the arena.
It was originally thought the exchange between Carson and Batista was planned as a local stunt, but that no longer appears to be the case with his firing.
