Second live report from the 5/22 WWE event in Dublin

Gary Hernon of the Wrestleview International Desk passed along this live report.

5/22 WWE Results: Dublin, Ireland

The Usos retained their tag team titles against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan of the Wyatt’s. Similar to most their encounters thus far.

Sami Zayn defeated Damien Sandow. Good match. Not a lot of people knew Sami but he managed to get over quick. Good sign going forward for him.

The Bella Twins defeated Alicia Fox & Aksana. Decent effort from the divas. Was surprised at how good Alicia performed. Definitely embracing her role. She attacked Tony Chimel after. Good comedy bit for the crowd.

Sheamus defeated Cesaro to retain the US Championship. Match of the night and one of the best house show matches I have seen. They went close to 25 mins and it was non stop. As many near falls as an Undertaker WrestleMania match. Perfect foil for each other and hopefully they replicate it at a future PPV, that’s how good it was.

R-Truth & Xavier Woods def 3MB (Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal). The match followed the intermission so people were heading back to their seats. Run of the mill stuff. Drew looks like a champion. He is ready to be pushed but obviously something is holding him back. Very fluid in the ring and definitely the best from this match.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Alberto Del Rio. Similar to a lot of the matches from their feud last year. Still a fine effort. Dolph is another guy who deserves to be doing more he can’t not give 100℅.

John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt. Essentially their WrestleMania match replayed. Slightly different ending with Bray missing Cena with a chair and hitting Rowan. Cena then despatched Harper and hit Bray with an AA. The crowd (mostly younger fans) erupted for Cena.

It was announced that they will be returning to Dublin in the O2 on November 6th 2014.

Cheers
