It’s that time again. Each year, thousands of hardcore pop culture fans convene in San Diego for Comic-Con International, and what massive entertainment event would be complete without WWE at the center of it all?
The WWE action kicks off with a top-secret panel on Thursday morning, where WWE and Mattel will unveil never-before-seen action figures — among other surprises — in addition to giving convention-goers a sneak peek at WWE Network. Daniel Bryan, Paul Heyman and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will be on-hand for the panel, moderated by “The Voice of WWE,” Michael Cole.
Later that night, the WWE Universe at SDCC will have the chance to embrace their dark side with a WWE Studios and Lionsgate panel highlighting “Leprechaun: Origins” and “See No Evil 2.” Filmmakers join “Leprechaun: Origins” star Hornswoggle and “See No Evil 2’s” Kane as the re-imagined looks for their characters in the forthcoming horror films are revealed.
