WWE Smackdown tapings for October 10, 2014:
* In-ring segment with Stephanie McMahon and former Smackdown GMs Johnny Ace & Teddy Long. A 7-on-7 Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny match was made for later tonight. Stephanie announced MizTV with John Cena & Dean Ambrose. Adam Rose came out and told Stephanie not to be a Lemon. Stephanie made Rose vs. Kane right after.
1. Kane def. Adam Rose. Kane destroyed the Rosebuds afterwards, except for the Bunny.
2. WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee def. Alicia Fox w/Paige. Paige attacked AJ afterwards, but AJ cleared the ring of Paige & Fox.
3. Seth Rollins w/Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury def. Kofi Kingston
4. Rusev w/Lana def. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Non-Title Match. Afterwards, Lana cut a promo ripping on the Rock and challenging Big Show to face Rusev on this Monday’s 10/13 WWE RAW.
* Backstage segment with the Rock, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon.
* Booker T came out to do commentary on the next match.
5. Team Teddy (WWE United States Champion Sheamus, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, The Usos, Los Matadores & El Torito) def. Team Johnny (WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust, Slater Gator, Damien Sandow, Bo Dallas, Cesaro & Hornswoogle)
* They re-taped the Rollins/Kingston match.
* MizTV with John Cena & Dean Ambrose. Announced that their match at the Hell in a Cell PPV will be a No Holds Barred Contract on a Pole Match where the winner faces Seth Rollins inside the Hell in a Cell on the same show. Cena & Ambrose eventually laid out Miz, then Cena laid out Ambrose with the AA to close Smackdown.
