WWE Main Event results, Oct. 21, 2014: Rollins all money on his way to Ambrose

WICHITA, Kan. — With Hell in a Cell fast approaching, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins scored a victory over former Mr. Money in the Bank Jack Swagger. And with Natalya at ringside, Tyson Kidd managed to impress his wife with a win.

The Usos def. WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust (‘How well do you know your bro?’ challenge)

In what Michael Cole said “may have been the worst thing I’ve ever seen in a WWE ring,” WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust and The Usos matched wits instead of moves. The challenge was hosted by JBL and featured a series of three questions for the brothers. In the end, the No. 1 Contenders defeated the Tag Champs 3-2. To celebrate, The Usos delivered a Superkick to Starust then a Double Superkick to Goldust.

Tyson Kidd def. R-Truth

Despite their ongoing marital troubles on “Total Divas,” Natalya was at ringside to offer encouragement for her husband Tyson Kidd. After seemingly tweaking his knee, Kidd was able to surprise R-Truth with a low blow for the win. Will the positive outcome provide a little relief from all the bickering for the troubled couple?

Big E def. Bo Dallas

Big E’s brawn proved to be too much for Bo Dallas’ “Bo-Lieve.” The 300-pound former Intercontinental Champion put away the inspirational Superstar with the Big Ending. It was a good win for Big E, who failed to defeat the big Russian Rusev on last night’s Raw.

Seth Rollins def. Jack Swagger

With his match with Dean Ambrose approaching this Sunday at Hell in a Cell, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins battled the formidable 270-pound Jack Swagger. Rollins almost fell in defeat to a Swagger Bomb followed by a Patriot Lock. But the self-proclaimed “undisputed future of WWE” made it to the ropes to save himself. Then — distracted by Rollins’ security staff lurking at ringside — The Real American fell victim to a flying knee to the head and a Curb Stomp.
