Sky TV in the UK answered the following question by a fan on Twitter regarding if they were the reason behind the delay of the WWE Network launching in the UK.
“Unfortunately this was announced by WWE Network, we were not involved in this decision, any updates please check out @WWENetwork for more details.”
Sky also posted the following sample reply to more fan questions about the network delay.
“We understand that the WWE Network release date has been delayed and this isn’t a decision that we have made and instead it was made by the WWE…I appreciate that the delay is frustrating and would suggest directing any questions about it to the WWE themselves.”
Despite Sky’s response, it is said that ongoing negotiations between Sky TV and the WWE are the reason behind the delay of the WWE Network launch in the UK.
