We see video highlighting last week’s NXT Takeover: R Evolution.

We see the usual intro, then Adrian Neville makes his way to the ring. Neville talks about losing the NXT Title to Sami Zayn last week. Neville wishes Zayn could be there tonight, but can’t because of what Kevin Owens did. Owens comes out and Neville began ripping on him. Owens says he doesn’t care what Neville has to say, Zayn isn’t here and that is what is most important to him. If Neville wants to fight, he’s got one.

Backstage, Devin Taylor interviews Becky Lynch. Lynch says she has now seen what it takes to make it in NXT. Its not making the fans cheer for her, she only trusts Sasha Banks now and says tonight, she will end Bayley’s career.

Commercial

We see video from Tyler Breeze, saying he will be away from NXT for a while as he will be in Europe modeling.

“Its” Bayley vs. Becky Lynch

Bayley takes control with a sliding forearm to the back and a series of sliding clotheslines early. Bayley unloads on Lynch in the corner, but then Lynch with a kick to the injured leg of Bayley. Bayley comes back with a suplex for a nearfall. Lynch then counters out of a roll-up attempt.

Four-Legged Clover (Reverse Figure Four) applied, Bayley taps.

Winner: Becky Lynch by submission (Four-Legged Clover)

We see video from last week with Charlotte. Charlotte talks about her match with Sasha Banks and says that while Sasha is good, she is just genetically superior. NXT is her throne.

We see video highlighting the NXT Tag Team Title match last week.

Backstage, the Vaudevillains walk into NXT GM William Regal’s office and demand a rematch against the Lucha Dragons because the illegal man was pinned on their team in the match last week. Vaudevillains show Regal the footage and Regal agrees. Vaudevillains want the match tonight, but Regal says he will give them the rematch next week.

“The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey vs. Mr. 450

Bull with a running body block, top rope headbutt for the win.

Winner: “The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey by pinfall (Top Rope Diving Headbutt)

Bull goes to leave, but Baron Corbin comes out for our next match and the two bump into one another.

“The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin vs. A Guy

End of Days by Corbin instantly for the win.

Winner: “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin by pinfall (End of Days)

Corbin leaves as Bull has remained the entire time on the rampway from when Corbin bumped into him. Bull shoves Corbin and leaves.

Commercial

We see video of Sami Zayn being stretchered out after Kevin Owens’ attack last week.

Jersey Boys come out for the next match, giving their own rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.

The Jersey Boys (Enzo Amore & “Big Cass” Colin Cassady) w/Carmella vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor)

Enzo tags in early after Cass takes early control, but the Ascension wipe him out.

STO by Viktor to Enzo for the win.

Winners: The Ascension by pinfall (STO)

Afterwards, Ascension grab a mic and say that Hideo Itami & Finn Balor’s win last week was beginners’ luck. As long as there is breath in them, the war won’t be over. The next time we meet, Itami & Balor will fall and the Ascension will rise.

Main Event: “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Owens vs. “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville

Owens stalls early. Neville with a running kick, but then Owens takes over. Neville makes a comeback, but Owens avoids a baseball slide and hits Neville with a Northern Lariat. Owens taunts the crowd as we go to commercial.

Commercial

Back from commercial as Owens with the Cannonball for a nearfall. Owens trash talks Neville, followed by an Inverted Curb Stomp for a nearfall. Crowd wills on Neville. Neville comes back with a head kick, a running corner uppercut and his series of kicks. Springboard dropkick by Neville for a nearfall. Owens comes back with an overhead gutbuster and a running back senton for a nearfall. Owens crotches Neville on the turnbuckles, draping DDT for a nearfall. Neville comes back with a Snap German and another head kick. Owens rolls outside, but Neville wipes him out with a Foxbury Flop! Referee’s 10 count gets to 7, then Owens sends Neville into the ringpost.

Both can’t answer the 10 count and are counted out.

Double Count-Out

Afterwards, Owens gets up and lays out Neville with the Apron Powerbomb! Owens leaves as referees and attendants tend to the fallen Neville as the show closes.
