The banner honoring the career of Hulk Hogan last Friday night at Madison Square Garden during the Hulk Hogan Appreciation Night ceremony was removed the next day for the New York Knicks game according to multiple wrestling media reports.
WWE issued a statement noting the banner was never meant to stay permanently.
“The banner was a part of our show and was never intended to stay at MSG.”
