Matt Bloom (aka Jason Albert/Tensai) has been named the interim head trainer for WWE at the Performance Center in Orlando replacing Bill DeMott per a report by PWInsider. DeMott announced he would be stepping down from his role on Friday afternoon.
The announcement regarding Bloom taking over for DeMott was made by Mark Carano of WWE Talent Relations via email to the NXT developmental roster not long after DeMott issued his tweet announcing his departure from the company.
While WWE has yet to issue an official statement about DeMott, he is believed to be completely done with the company and not reassigned to another department. DeMott has already removed any reference to WWE on his official Twitter account.
