ESPN personality Bill Simmons posted the following on Twitter about what he will be doing on next week’s 3/23 WWE RAW in Los Angeles, where Simmons will be a guest star on:
“I’m joining Raw’s broadcast booth for a match or 2 on Monday. Wanted to be there for all 3 hours but JBL’s massive ego wouldn’t allow it.”
This led to RAW commentator John Bradshaw Layfield posting the following on his Twitter:
“I only have a couple of clotheslines left in me, but might have to use one on @BillSimmons on @WWE Raw next week. @Grantland33”
Also, WWE star Curtis Axel and rapper Snoop Dogg, who will also be a guest star on next week’s RAW, had the following back-and-forth on Twitter yesterday. Axel posted the following first on his Twitter:
“Listen @SnoopDogg, the only thing runnin wild is #AxelMania! @WWE”
Snoop Dogg then responded with:
“Better not talk outta line neffew ! #SnoopMania gonna run all over #RAW monday ! been doin this for yrs !! LA is my town @RealCurtisAxel”
So, it appears that there will be two angles on the show next week involving Snoop Dogg & Axel and Simmons and JBL.
