WWE NXT is expected to run two live events at the former ECW Arena (2300 Arena) in Philadelphia on 5/15 and 5/16 per a new report by Mike Johnson. WWE reportedly has a hold on the arena for those two dates, which would be NXT’s first events held in the Northeast area.
Also during that same week, Ring of Honor is scheduled to run two live events on 5/12 and 5/13 as part of supershows with New Japan. So many live events will be taking place in that arena over the course of that week. This will be the first WWE live event at the former ECW Arena since they ran an ECW-branded live event in 2006.
