DirecTV officials are said to be in talks with WWE to start carrying live PPV events again according to a new report this week. DirecTV pulled the plug on all WWE PPV events going forward in April 2014 following WrestleMania 30 and the launch of the WWE Network.
DirecTV operators were told to tell any callers that they were no longer carrying WWE PPV events and that it was only available on the WWE Network. For WrestleMania 31, operators were told not to direct callers anywhere because of the interest in getting them back.
