SPOILERS: WWE Smackdown taping results for June 4

The following was taped on Tuesday night in Houston, Texas.

WWE Smackdown tapings for June 4, 2015:

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins opens the taping gloating about dismantling The Shield, not needing Kane’s help to win the “Money in the Bank” briefcase and that he is the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all time. Rollins, still without his title, said he doesn’t need The Authority’s help to beat Dean Ambrose at the Money in the Bank PPV. Ambrose shows up on the tron and cuts a promo on Rollins.

* The Prime Time Players def. The Ascension and The Lucha Dragons to become the new No. 1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

* Backstage, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day were cutting a promo on The Prime Time Players. Kane walks up and tells them that they will defend their titles against The Prime Time Players at Money in the Bank in two weeks.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback def. Stardust in a non-title match.

* Backstage, Paige said The Bella’s have ruined the Divas division and if you don’t like the world you live in, you must change it. Paige promises to change the world.

* Kevin Owens def. Zack Ryder to retain the NXT Championship in an Open Challenge match. Before the match, Owens cut a promo about John Cena promising to show his son, who loves Cena, what a real man is after he beats him again.

* Backstage, Sheamus promised to beat Roman Reigns later tonight and to capture the “Money in the Bank” briefcase in two weeks.

* Neville def. Kofi Kingston.

* Miz TV with special guest Lana. A video package plays replaying the break up between Lana and Rusev. Miz asked Lana why she would leave Rusev in his time of need and implied that she was only using Rusev. Miz introduces a special guest, Rusev. Rusev asks Lana for a second chance and goes for a hug. Lana doesn’t accept his apology. Dolph Ziggler comes out and Rusev insults Lana. Lana leaves the ring with Ziggler.

* Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus never took place. Kane attacked Reigns right away and then announced he would also be in the “Money in the Bank” ladder match. Kane, Seth Rollins and J&J Security beat down Reigns until Dean Ambrose ran out for the save.
