SPOILERS: Smackdown taping for 9/18

The following took place on Tuesday in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings for September 18:

– Teddy Long is shown arriving to the arena with security guards.

– Batista comes out and says it was his choice to come to Smackdown since it is the “A” show in WWE. Chris Jericho comes out and both exchange words. Batista announces that his first match back on Smackdown will be against Jericho tonight and slams Jericho to the mat.

– Backstage, Jericho confronts Big Show and asks why he didn’t come out to the ring with him when he was in the ring with Batista. Jericho tells Show to stay backstage for tonight’s main event since he will take care of Batista.

– WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison def. Mike Knox.

– Backstage, referee Scott Armstrong is interviewed and admits what he did at Breaking Point to The Undertaker was wrong, but he had to do it to save his own job.

– Melina def. WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool in a non-title match.

– Backstage, Vince McMahon congratulates Teddy Long for shaking things up on Smackdown by bringing in Batista. He also warns him about The Undertaker for what he did at Breaking Point and sends him to the ring to explain his actions.

– Teddy Long comes out with security. He said he was told to shake things up on Smackdown and he did just that at Breaking Point with The Undertaker. Long said he hopes Undertaker can forgive him. We then see a shot of Long heading to the back getting into a limo. The driver opens the window and it is The Undertaker driving. The limo fills with smoke and drives off.

– WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk comes out and brags about being straight edge and how it makes him better than you.

– The Hart Dynasty def. Cryme Tyme.

– The Great Khali def. Kane via DQ after Kane hit Khali with a big chair shot. Afterwards, Kane took out Khali with the steel steps and Khali was stretchered out.

– Charlie Haas came out for a match with R-Truth. Drew McIntyre comes out instead and announces that R-Truth had an accident, so Haas wins the match. McIntyre shakes hands with Haas and then takes him out.

– Batista def. WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho.

Post-Taping Dark Match: WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk def. The Undertaker via DQ when Punk tried to use a steel chair, but Undertaker kicked it back in his face. Undertaker gave Punk two Tombstone Piledrivers to end the night.
