Manuel Gamiz Jr. of The Morning Call is reporting that Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka was in a wheelchair and hooked to a feeding tube when he turned himself to authorities on Tuesday at the Lehigh County Courthouse surrendering to charges of third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino.

Snuka’s attorney William E. Moore talked in detail about Snuka’s poor health.

“He is not in good shape physically or mentally. I’m not sure he realized what was going on. I’m not sure what his cognitive abilities are.”
