WWE issued the following statement on Thursday addressing comments showing up on the personal Twitter account for developmental talent Jasmin (Nhooph Al-Areebi) that included use of the n-word and other hateful remarks.
“WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi’s (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old. Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made.”
WWE released developmental talent Zahra Schreiber a few weeks ago when her social media accounts featured hateful remarks and imagery prior to her signing with WWE.
