Bayley on the term Divas, making to the WWE main roster

Ted Gruber of Fansided.com is featuring an interview with WWE NXT Women’s Champion Bayley talking about the term “Divas” being used and making it to WWE’s main roster.

On the term “Divas” and if WWE should retire it:

“It doesn’t bother me. The only reason personally I would like it to go back to women’s — it’s what I grew up with. I am so used to watching the Women’s Championship being defended and that’s where I come from. It’s not like I don’t like the term Diva, it’s what you make of it. I would like to continue what I have now which is [being] the Women’s Champion.”

On making the jump to WWE’s main roster:

“Mentally and physically I feel I can make that next step. I think I have done everything I can here in NXT and I do want to test myself on the main roster. I want to be with the girls up there that were in the same place I was. But the mental side — I am very attached to the NXT product. With all the tours we are doing and all the things that have come our way, it’s very special. I am excited to see what is next for us. Part of me wants to me stay and I would feel left out if I did leave and things are going on here.”
