WWE is featuring a video interview with newly inducted Hall of Famer Sting last night in Dallas where he talks about battling the idea of announcing his retirement from the ring up until the very last minute before his induction speech.
“The only thing I’d like to share is – it’s something I battled all the way up until the last minute pretty much as to whether or not I was going to retire. It just makes sense right now. I don’t want to. Every wrestler wants ‘one more match.’ Although I do believe wholeheartedly I could do it, I just think that it’s just time for me to put my boots in the middle of the ring.”
