Goldberg talks about his run with WWE from 2003 to 2004

WWE.com is featuring a new interview with Bill Goldberg where he talks about his involvement with the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game, why he felt his run with WWE from 2003 to 2004 was successful and comments on having one more match.

“I’ve got 50 more in me. It just depends on the ability to keep it up to my standards. I love everybody to death and I greatly appreciate their opinions, but none of it matters except for mine, because I hold myself to such high standards. The reality is, you’ve got movies, TV appearances, a kid, you’re 49 years old … things aren’t like they used to be. It’s a completely different day. I’m 20 to 30 pounds less than what I was because I just don’t need to be that dude with traps from his ears to his shoulders. Would I like to be that guy again? Absolutely. He’s still in there.”

  1. I’d like to see Goldberg VS Lesnar one more time but I’m not sure if he have the stamina to go through a 20 minutes match

  2. Goldberg vs. Lesnar sure I wouldn’t mind long as it’s not a shit match like the first one was and Dean Ambrose u out of my other favs Sami, Cesaro and KO better win

  3. “keep up the standards?”
his standard was spending 3x as long getting to the ring as he did in it, and specialising in ar$ehole squash matches. so yeah, he’s got at LEAST 50 more of THOSE in him.

  4. Lesnar is actually better than he was then. Goldberg, not so much. The guy hasn’t wrestled in ages and is pushing 50.
