Brock Lesnar

WWE.com is featuring an article promoting Brock Lesnar’s upcoming return to the UFC at the UFC 200 PPV on July 9 in Las Vegas against Mark Hunt following Lesnar’s announcement on ESPN SportsCenter on Monday morning.

WWE continues to promote that Lesnar – win or lose – will make his return to the company at SummerSlam on August 21 in Brooklyn. This will be Lesnar’s next scheduled date with WWE since his appearance at WrestleMania 32.

“Brock Lesnar will fight Mark Hunt at UFC 200 on July 9 on pay-per-view and then make his in-ring return to WWE at SummerSlam on August 21, only on WWE Network.”

  1. Both companies are making this opportunity to get fans to crossover to watch both sports becos of Lesnar.
It’s a win win for the UFC and the WWE

  2. If Hunt wins and injures Lesnar in the process to the point where he can’t appear at Summerslam… it’s a win-win on paper for both companies, but the potential for injury makes it a bit risky for WWE.
