WWE announced on Wednesday in an official press release that the Cruiserweight Classic will be a weekly one-hour show on WWE Network beginning on July 13 and will run until a live two-hour finale special on September 14. A preview episode for the Cruiserweight Classic will air on WWE Network on July 6.
Also announced, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Smackdown commentator Mauro Ranallo will be the announce team for the Cruiserweight Classic. This will be Bryan’s first public role within WWE since his retirement from the ring in February.
WWE starts taping the Cruiserweight Classic on Thursday at Full Sail University.
