Jerry Lawler

Wrestleview.com was issued the following statement from WWE confirming that the suspension against Jerry “The King” Lawler following his arrest back on June 17 has now officially been lifted this week.

“Jerry Lawler’s legal matter has been resolved and his suspension has been lifted, effective immediately.”

The Commercial Appeal in Memphis reported earlier today that the domestic assault charges against Lawler and his fiancé (Lauryn McBride) were dismissed on Friday. The charges will be “expunged from their records” according to the report. Ted Hansom, Lawler’s attorney, described the situation as a “big misunderstanding and won’t happen again. We are happy with the outcome.”

  1. Probably will see him on Smackdown this week. To me, David Otunga just wasn’t there. He made some commentary notes here and there but didn’t have a real presence.

  2. So Jerry being suspected of beating his fiancée gets a way shorter suspension then Titus O’neil got for touching Vinces Elbow lol ya gotta luv it.

  3. good to know been missing hearing King’s heelish persona as of late though David Otunga been ok

  4. jerry was SUSPECTED of something, and now cleared. Titus ACTUALLY manhandled his BOSS – so what’s your point?
