Jerry Lawler

WWE.com has updated the article from late Tuesday night announcing that WWE Hall of Famers Jerry “The King” Lawler and Booker T will both be part of WWE Network pre-show and kickoff shows going forward.

Lawler was originally part of the Smackdown commentary team and was quietly removed in favor of the team that will now include Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga.

As reported earlier, the new RAW commentary team will now consist of Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton starting next week.

  1. I dunno, he was trying to be a heel commentator, but he was like an uncle who is telling stories but you’re not really listening, He was great at it years ago, but lost his spark. I seriously think at this point, The kick offs and pre shows would be a perfect fit for him.

  2. “DON’T POKE THA BEAR!!!”

“WELCOME TO[INSERT PLACE/EVENT/SEASON HERE] WHOEVER IS GETTING HURT!!!”

    “That’s right John”

    Yep

  3. The King & Booker T on the same commentary team? Sounds like an earful but at least it won’t be boring.
