IGN.com is featuring an interview up with cast members of the popular FX comedy series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” The article notes that an upcoming wrestling-themed episode in Season 5 will feature Dennis, Mac and Charlie as a tag team known as “Birds of War” that will feature a cameo by WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
When asked if the crew would want to get in on the new special guest hosting gig on Raw, Glenn Howerton (who plans “Dennis” on the show) added, “Yeah, they want us to do that, actually. There’s a very good chance, if the dates work out, that we may be doing that sometime in September. We’ll see. It’s not definite. If we do [go on RAW], our plan is to come on as the Birds of War. We may have a little bit of beef with somebody. We’ll see.”
