Earlier today at a WWE live event in Abu Dhabi, WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks were allowed to wrestle on the card.
Banks and Bliss, wearing full body suits, made history becoming the first women to take part in a pro wrestling card in the United Arab Emirates on December 7.
The body suits were due to the “Muslim nation’s strict laws on female attire” according to an article on TMZ.com. Previous events in Abu Dhabi did not feature WWE female talent.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque called the moment historic.
“I started crying because of how huge this is. It’s bigger than me.”
