Daniel Bryan talks about wanting to wrestle again and his frustrations with WWE

Hot 97’s Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg spoke with Daniel Bryan earlier this week to plug the Smackdown Live taping in Newark, New Jersey to discuss his current position with the company and why he wants to wrestle again.

Bryan spoke at length about concussions and why he thinks he’s okay to return to the ring.

“I have worked with some of the best people in the country. I have been cleared by specialists at UCLA that I did not choose. WWE sent them to me because they are the best. A whole team of people – who work with concussions on a daily basis – they said to me, ‘You are fine to wrestle.’ The hard part of wrestling is the travel. The part that I love is being in the ring and wrestling. So now, I’ve got the job where it’s the part of wrestling that I don’t like.”

Bryan also made a powerful statement that if you were to test the brains of a lot of active WWE stars that his tests would show he’s actually in better shape than most.
