Cruiserweight Title

WWE has announced a Cruiserweight Title match for tomorrow night’s RAW.

Enzo Amore will defend the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander in Memphis, in a match previously scheduled for the show last week.

Amore was pulled from last week’s show in Miami after he was hospitalized with the flu. WWE also pulled Amore from the WWE Mixed Match Challenge show as well.

Wrestleview.com will have live RAW coverage tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 CT).

  1. It’s kinda weird. I watched Wrestle Kingdom live last week and it’s the first NJPW PPV I’ve watched start to finish. I really enjoyed it too. I wasn’t absolutely bowled over but I thought it was really good. But then, about halfway through Okada/Naito, an image popped into my head that changed everything.

It was the image of Triple H humping a mannequin.

Then it became a bit of a eureka moment. I’d spent 6 hours watching Wrestle Kingdom. There were 2 promos, no backstage segments, no celebrity appearances. Just 6 hours of wrestling with commentators who genuinely cared about the moves and what was going on in the ring (kudos to Kevin Kelly and Don Callis who did a great job IMO). I was watching Okada and Naito, over half an hour, work the crowd from near dead from exhaustion from Omega/Jericho to absolutely crazy on their feet with nothing but wrestling.

Then I thought about Hornswoggle painting holes in the wall.

Then I realised, I think after 24 years of watching WWF/E, it’s time to stop. So I cancelled my network subscription and signed up to NJPW World instead (for cheaper too).

WWE, I would like to wish you the best in all your future endeavours.
