New report reveals plans for the scheduled location for WWE WrestleMania 35 in 2019

WrestleMania 35

Beginning in 2018, Wrestleview.com will return to monitoring and reporting on any stories making the rounds among the wrestling media. These stories will be clearly marked as a “rumor” (as highlighted in the image above) for reference.

Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports is reporting that WrestleMania 35 will be returning to New Jersey at Metlife Stadium next year in 2019 to host the biggest show of the year.

Fox noted that while both Detroit and Philadelphia were among the cities under heavy consideration to host WrestleMania next year, WWE decided to return to Metlife Stadium.

WWE held WrestleMania 29 at Metlife Stadium back in 2013, featuring the big rematch main event of The Rock vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship.

One factor that many wrestling fans noted was the weather. Given that the stadium is outdoors and will likely take place in late March/early April, temperatures were quite low.

WWE had to combat the low temps by installing heaters above and inside the ring. While it was the fifth WrestleMania to be held outdoors, it was the first in a cold-weather city.

WWE announced a return to New Orleans for WrestleMania 34 in mid-January last year.
