Paul Heyman comments on Brock Lesnar’s WWE future

TMZ Sports is featuring an interview with Paul Heyman where he is asked about current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE expiring after WrestleMania 34 and if he thinks he will want to make a return to the UFC.

“I think Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in UFC, Brock Lesnar will fight in UFC. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.”

Heyman also noted that Lesnar spending time away from mixed martial arts is actually a good thing because it gives his body a chance to heal.

Lesnar officially “retired” from MMA competition last February after serving a one year suspension from USADA and paying a $250,000 fine after failing two tests leading up to his return to the UFC back in July of 2016 at UFC 200.

Heyman also addressed the TMZ interview on Twitter.

Note regarding RAW Gauntlet Match

PWInsider.com is reporting that Vince McMahon is the one who made the call to hold the seven man gauntlet match as part of the first two hours of RAW this past Monday night.

The report, by Mike Johnson, noted McMahon made the suggestion “out of no where” and surprised many backstage. McMahon approved the length and presentation of the match.
