“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video recaps the events of last week.  Roman Reigns and The Usos took on AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson in the main event.  After the match, AJ Styles declined attacking Roman Reigns with a chair.  The Usos hit Styles with a chair, so he returned the favor.  Reigns only saw Styles hitting his cousins with a chair, so he viciously assaulted him.  Reigns then powerbombed him through the commentary table.

The RAW video plays, and we’re brought into the arena to see a big fireworks display. Tonight’s main event will see Roman Reigns and The Usos face AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson in a six-man tag team elimination match.

Chris Jericho’s pyro goes off, and he makes his way to the ring to boos from the crowd. We’ll have a Highlight Reel segment. Replays are shown from last week of Chris Jericho assaulting Dean Ambrose and breaking Mitch the Potted Plant over his head. Jericho’s guest was supposed to be Dean Ambrose, but he’s not here because of him. Last week, he assaulted him and gave him blunt force trauma. Ambrose has a bulging disc because of him. Ambrose won’t be here tonight and might not for a long time because of him. However, he’s got the next best thing right here. Jericho lifts up a black cloth and shows the remain of Mitch the Potted Plant. A light “Mitch” chant breaks out. Ambrose came to the WWE to entertain the crowd. He was zany and whacky, but he underestimated the veritable tsunami known as Chris Jericho. Much like Mitch the Potted Plant, Ambrose is in the same state – a shattered mast of dirt and dust lying on a table looking for someone to put him back together again. The worst part is he seriously injures Ambrose, but how does the crowd react? Jericho shows tweets and messages about Mitch the Plant. When Ambrose was in the hospital screaming in pain, there was nothing funny about that because he did it to him. Jericho understands why they like Mitch so much. Mitch is more interesting than Ambrose. Mitch has more charisma and worth to the WWE than Ambrose does. Jericho could sell the remnant for $12 and it’d be worth more than Ambrose.

Jericho understands that the reason the crowd relates to Ambrose is because he’s a loser like him. Jericho cannot relate because he is a legend. Jericho is the superstars of all superstars. Jericho is the Haley’s Comet of WWE. Talent like his comes once every 76 years. Jericho is going to give them what they crave right now. Jericho is giving them the gift of Jericho and tells them to drink it in. Jericho poses for the crowd.

The music of Enzo Amore and Big Cass hits. Big Cass comes out to a big pop from the crowd. Jericho looks perplexed as he gets in the ring. Jericho asks him who he thinks he is. Big Cass asks if that’s really the gift. Big Cass says he wants the receipt for this gift. A “How you doin’” chant breaks out. Big Cass says Jericho is one of the greatest of all time, but he doesn’t understand what the New Era is all about. “We have arrived” is not a cry for attention – it’s a warning. Big Cass tells Jericho to consider this a warning – he has arrived. Jericho is standing in his way. Jericho needs to either get out of his way or get run over. Jericho tells him to run to the hospital to check on Enzo Annoying. Enzo is staying in the same hospital ward as Ambrose. Big Cass says there is no running in the New Era. They stand and fight. Big Cass dwarfs Jericho and says they can fight right now. Jericho looks up at him and asks if he’s forgotten that he’s the best… Big Cass covers the microphone. Big Cass says he may be the best in the world at what he does, but he’s 7-feet tall and you can’t teach that. Jericho asks if he really wants to fight and removes his jacket. Jericho then smirks and walks off. Big Cass says that proves that there is only one word to describe Jericho, and he’ll spell it out for him: S-A-W-F-T! Jericho angrily runs up to the apron, but Big Cass big boots him off.

Charlotte will take on Paige later tonight. Coming up next, we’ll see Baron Corbin take on Dolph Ziggler.
