Ronda Rousey confronts Triple H and Stephanie

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon head to the ring.

Stephanie grabs a mic and says last night was supposed to be the highlight of their executive career by signing Ronda Rousey to WWE. She said because of the actions of one one – Kurt Angle – things went horribly wrong. Stephanie accused Angle of hallucinating during Elimination Chamber and forced Ronda Rousey to take action against Triple H. She said that kind of behavior might be tolerable in MMA, but not in WWE.

Another video package airs highlighting Ronda Rousy putting Triple H through a table, Stephanie McMahon slapping her and Ronda signing her WWE contract.

Back live, Stephanie said she had to get physical with Ronda to remind her of the hierarchy here in WWE. She points out Ronda signed her contract meaning she reports to her. “Which means WWE owns Ronda Rousey.” Stephanie says everyone needs to learn their place here in WWE and invites Kurt Angle to come out to give an apology.

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey walks out instead with a very angry look on her face. Ronda reaches the ring and Kurt Angle walks out telling her to hold up. Angle gets inside the ring and says her coming to WWE is the best decision she ever made. Ronda said she meant everything she said last night and she wants this more than anything.

She says they aren’t horrible people. Stephanie wants to put this all behind them and make Ronda the superstar she deserves to be. 1. *sighs* No, no, no, no, no, NO. I do not want to see this match, and for once, it has NOTHING to do with Cena’s part in it. Look, I like The Undertaker and all, and of course he’s a legend with few to any equals, but the fact is that he’s an old man, and that he probably should’ve retired a few years ago.

  2. Well, per the promo tonight, it isn’t happening and Cena is heading back to Smackdown Live as a free agent

  3. If Cena/Taker does happen doesn’t it make the whole point of Roman/Taker pointless? Since it wasn’t takers last match.

  4. “every word that comes out of Corey Graves stupid mouth is noise pollution” what does Elias have against Corey Graves lol

  5. No Paul Haymen promo?…….Come On……When camera shot on that limo, I thought Paul Haymen has arrived to talk on behalf of Ronda Rousy…….

  6. Triple H was aiming for Ronda Rousey but realize this is a PC show. And Kurt Angle didn’t get knocked out,he fainted when he realized he’s wrestling Triple H at WrestleMania 34.

  7. True, but there are recent pictures out there of Him and Michelle working out together and he is squatting 450-600lbs. I don’t know what that is all about but it makes you wonder if he is getting back into shape for “One more match.”

  8. So I missed the show. But was there a Lesner/Reigns face to face or is Lesner still in Vegas negotiating his UFC contract

  9. It doesn’t matter to roman reigns if the undertaker come back for a match or not. Nobody is going to give roman shit about that. Maybe miz might bring that up in his promo. But it doesn’t affect him in any way. Things like this happen all the time. Throwback to the never before, never again rock vs john cena match. Personally I like undertaker. He could do tag team matches or manage some players or pass on his dead man legacy to someone like Finn balor who really needs a break.

  10. I feel like the American Badass silk show up on Smackdown tonight. They used to say Cena can get a good match out of anybody.

  11. I am just FLOORED at how terrible the Ronda Rousey segments have been the last two nights. Are these writers on crack? or just plain stupid? How could anyone think that either segment was good?

    Watch, here’s how it’s done:

Sunday night was so simple: Ronda comes out all smiles, signs her contract and gets clocked by Stephanie. She stands over her, with that evil McMahon face and says “*I* am your opponent at WrestleMania!”

Then, on RAW, Steph gloats about she got one over on Rousey. Then, proceeds to “educate” Ronda on the difference between Pro Wrestling and MMA:

“Ronda, the ring is SQUARE and these are called ‘ROPES’. In wrestling, punching is not allowed. Chokes are not allowed. That thing you used to do when you did that… Ya, not allowed. This submission move that you did, ya, now it’s banned too. So all you’ve really got left is what..? That’s right… NOTHING!”

Then… “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman…”

OMG, the pop would blow the roof off.

    ba$nk

    Alternative ending: Rock’s music hits.

And let’s be honest here, Kurt Angle can’t wrestle anymore. Have the Rock team up with her Rowdiness and let Angle manage the team.

  12. well i want to see it. for a swan song, theTaker/RR match was a fkn abortion and totally unworthy of his legacy. Cena could give as good a match as anyone wants/needs. he could carry/cover up any faults better than RR did,

  13. When Roman said “why am I covering for the guy?” – My ears perked up because I just knew what was coming. It was a great promo by Reigns and smart of WWE to use that. I wonder if the photo with Dana was staged. I smell a bit of a work. 😉

  14. I think Corey and Elias were a tag team in NXT and Corey turned on him. Elias, at a PPV a while ago, made mention of it during the … what’s that called… the promo desk that Booker T is on now. And Corey just smiled and shrugged it off.

So Elias to his credit is still carrying the turn with him.

How funny was it when Graves said “Where’s Booker?” after Coachman made a dumb comment. lmao

  15. In spite of the lackluster way Raw finished I gotta give credit to the cameraman who right in the middle of the segment accidentally stuck his head in the way of the main camera, only to receive a death stare from Kurt Angle before exiting the ring with a very audible “Sh*t!” Haha, by far and away that guy saved the entire segment haha
