“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

Still photos are shown of John Cena’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory over Alberto Del Rio at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

The Smackdown video plays, and we’re brought into the arena to hear The Shield’s music. Michael Cole and JBL welcome us to the show.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena addresses the crowd

John Cena’s music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring to a tremendous reception from the Tampa crowd. This past Monday on RAW, Damien Sandow viciously attacked him at the start of RAW, and he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. Cena and Sandow fought a long match, but Cena, with one arm, caught him with the AA, and Sandow became only the second person to not successfully cash in Money in the Bank.

Cena stands in the center of the ring taking in the great reception. Cena says he knows everyone is just getting warmed up tonight. He can’t help it; he’s excited. Cena says he’s been busy this week. He came back to the WWE on Sunday and beat Alberto Del Rio for the title at Hell in a Cell. The next night on RAW, he had his very first title defense against Damien Sandow, and he retained the title. Cena says, “But you see, I’m not excited about what happened. I’m snapping at the action that’s about to happen because the World Champ is here!” Cena says the World Title means that he and Friday nights are going to get really comfortable. Cena tells Smackdown to get ready before saying it’s a new day. Cena gets the crowd in Tampa warmed up by challenging them to be loud. Cena says they share the excitement and energy. He’s putting every WWE superstar on notice. He’s holding the title, but the business card is the same. He’ll say it loud, proud, and clear. The World Heavyweight Champ is here. “You want some? Come get some!”

The Real Americans’ music hits, and they come out to the ring. Zeb Colter congratulates John Cena on winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but more importantly he congratulates him on beating Alberto Del Rio. That puts Del Rio one step closer to sneaking back across the border, the same one he snuck across in the first place. Colter asks if Cena minds him calling him John. Colter gets in the ring with Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. Colter says unlike the people in Tampa who have no moral values to speak of or a moral compass, Cena has a lot in common with The Real Americans. Colter says Cena is a real American hero, patriot, and legend like himself, Jack Swagger, and Antonio Cesaro. What he’s authorized to say now is he’s inviting Cena to join their struggle, fight, and agenda. Colter invites Cena to become an official Real American. To show their respect and admiration for him, they have a gift. Colter asks the crowd to stand straight and tall, put the hands over their hearts, and say, “We the people!”

Colter extends his hand for Cena to shake, but Cena does the “You can’t see me” gesture. Cena questions “We the people.” Cena says he see three dumb people. Cena asks Swagger what happened to him. He walks around looking like Biff from “Back to the Future.” Cena tells him to “make like a tree and get out of here.” Cena asks if that’s a sports almanac in his front pocket or is he just happy to see him (Back to the Future Part II). Then there’s Antonio Cesaro. Cena says he’s been quite impressive lately with people talking about his Giant Swing. Cena can’t concentrate on anything except his giant nipples. Cesaro looks like he has two giant Papa John’s pizzas on his chest. If you order his action figure, it’ll come with a 2-liter bottle of Coke and 25 Buffalo wings. “It ain’t delivery; it’s Cesaro!”

That leaves Cena with Zeb Colter. He looks like Yosemite Sam had one too many zemas (?) one night and wandered into a soup kitchen with the guys from “Duck Dynasty.” Cena says he’s just having some fun. He does have a problem with them, and it’s the same problem everyone has with them. Every week, they come out here spitting some sideways politics. Freedom of speech is their right, but it’s his right to tell them that they are full of Britney Spears’s initials. In America, BS stands for… bad stuff. If they want him to join the Real Americans, they should look at the Real Americans, and he points to the crowd. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. That means these people can think, act, look like, and say whatever they want just like this goof troop. That is the real American way. Cena tells them they need to march themselves out of Tampa Bay or there will be some real repercussions.

Damien Sandow’s music hits, and he power walks his way down to the ring. Sandow looks furious. Sandow says that John Cena is a hypocrite. Cena doesn’t know the first thing about American values. In America, they make their own opportunities like he did. He stabbed his own best friend in the back and won the Money in the Bank contract. Cena wouldn’t know anything about that. Since he arrived in the WWE and his return from the triceps injury, he’s been handed everything. Sandow says he’s here to look him in the eye and tell him man to man that Cena is a false champion. Sandow says every half-wit in the building thinks that he is still the uncrowned World Champion. Sandow tells Cena to look in his eye. Sandow says his soul purpose in life is to end the Cena Era in WWE. He will do that by any means necessary. “You’re welcome!”

The Real Americans and Damien Sandow surround Cena. All of a sudden, Cody Rhodes and Goldust run down to even the odds. The Real Americans and Sandow quickly get out of the ring. EXCUSE ME! Vickie Guerrero comes out to massive heat from the Tampa crowd. Vickie says as the General Manager of Smackdown, she will have order. Vickie says since they all feel like fighting, all of them will face each other in a six-man tag team match. Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro, and Damien Sandow will face Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and John Cena.

A shot is shown of The Shield backstage holding a camera. Dean Ambrose says they’re getting a little sick and tired of Jimmy and Jey Uso sticking their noses in their business. They’ve beaten them time and time again. They’ve proven that they’re not contenders or threats. They’re just speed bumps. Tonight, it’s no contest. Seth Rollins says The Shield united can beat any tag team on planet earth. They’ve proven it over and over. Tonight, they’ll prove that The Usos are no exception. Ambrose says he’ll speak up for The Shield. Tonight, the United States Champion and Seth Rollins are going to make sure that justice gets served. Roman Reigns looks a little perplexed by that statement before saying, “Believe in The Shield.”

Miz TV with Special Guest Shawn Michaels

The Miz welcomes everyone to the most must-see WWE talk show in history. His scheduled guest tonight was Shawn Michaels, but unfortunately, as the expression goes, Shawn Michaels has left the building. He knows he’s not Shawn Michaels, but he has something to say. Had it not been for Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton would not be WWE Champion. But, like it or not, as The Authority says, Randy Orton is the face of the company.

Randy Orton’s music hits, and the WWE Champion makes his way to the stage to jeers from the crowd. Orton says he appreciates The Miz’s view, but he’s wrong. With or without Shawn Michaels, at Hell in a Cell he proved he is better than Daniel Bryan. He’ll tell Miz the reason why Shawn Michaels didn’t show. It’s because The Miz isn’t relevant anymore. No one cares about him or his stupid Miz TV. Orton tells him to think about it. A couple of months ago, in front of his parents in his hometown, he beat the holy hell out of The Miz. The WWE Universe practically cheered him. Orton gets in the ring, and he says it’s not up to him, but he would have The Miz join the unemployment line with the Big Show. The man who violated a restraining order on TV while he was celebrating his victory over Daniel Bryan and his eleventh WWE Championship. The Big Show came down, and he knocked him out. Orton bets the crowd enjoyed that. Because of that knockout, The Authority has banned the Big Show from WWE for life. Orton asks what they think about that.

Orton asks how that makes The Miz feel. The Miz goes to answer, but Orton immediately takes him down with an RKO. Orton stands over The Miz and holds up the WWE Championship.
