For anyone attending WrestleMania XXX, I will be in Section 141, Row 30. Come by and say hi!

“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The Smackdown video plays, and we’re brought into the arena to be welcomed by Michael Cole and JBL. Tonight, the Big Show will take on Bray Wyatt in the main event.

Batista addresses the WWE Universe

Batista is wearing a jacket and some baggy cargo pants tonight. He also has his customary sunglasses. The crowd boos him, and he seems to enjoy it. Batista says for years from the day he left, they begged him to come back to the WWE. Here he is, and they boo him. They boo him, a six-time Heavyweight Champion, the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble, and the headliner of WrestleMania XXX. They boo him, and they cheer for a sawed off, goat faced, gargoyle wannabe like Daniel Bryan. How does that make sense? A big “YES!” chant breaks out. Batista considers that a personal slap in the face, which brings him to this past Monday night’s RAW. A replay is shown of Stephanie McMahon slapping the sunglasses off Batista’s face on RAW. Batista then speared down Randy Orton.

Batista said that was pretty funny, but Orton isn’t laughing. At WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan won’t be laughing. He knows Triple H won’t be laughing. This is a fact. Whether you cheer for him or not, he’s walking out of WrestleMania the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He doesn’t care who he has to beat (Randy Orton, Triple H, or Daniel Bryan); he just hopes Stephanie McMahon isn’t in the match. She hits harder than all of them.

Triple H’s music hits, and the WWE COO makes his way to the ring with a smirk on his face. Triple H tells Batista to leave his wife out of this. Batista asks why he would do that. She’s the reason for this. She’s the reason for his suit, the reason he’s COO of the WWE. He’s confident in saying that Triple H wouldn’t have any of this if he didn’t marry the boss’s daughter. Batista asks how it’s working out. Triple H wonders why people are concerned with things they shouldn’t be concerned about. Triple H says this is the “Reality Era.” In this era, people don’t need to worry about things like that. It doesn’t matter how he got, Batista should just be concerned with the fact that he does have that power.

Triple H wonders why he’s trying to make this personal between the two of them. Batista says he isn’t as he came back with good intentions. Batista says Triple H wants to make it personal by claiming he’s just living off his past glories. Batista reminds him of his past glories: every time they have competed against one another, Triple H has lost. That’s a fact. Triple H has never beaten him. Now he wants to implant himself or Daniel Bryan into his main event. The only reason he came back to the WWE was to win that title, and Triple H won’t stop him. Triple H says that is statistically correct, but that was a long time ago. When all that happened, Batista was fresh off of standing by his side in Evolution. Triple H turned him into the hungry Animal, but he got full and got soft. Batista got lazy, and he quit. Batista then went to Hollywood where his assistant rubbed his feet, and he watched a stuntman do his work.

Now Batista is back, and Triple H has yet to see the Animal. Triple H showed the world what he could still do to Daniel Bryan, the man Batista couldn’t finish off. Triple H asks Batista when he is going to show what he can still do. Triple H is willing to help him again to hone his skills tonight. In this very ring, Batista is going to compete tonight. Batista asks if he’s sure he wants to do that. Triple H says Batista will go one-on-one with a guy who reminds him a lot of the old animal: hungry and ready to fight. Batista will fight Sheamus. Triple H then leaves the ring.

A video highlights the altercation The Shield had with Kane and the New Age Outlaws. Kane and the NAO beat The Shield down with the help of 3MB, The Real Americans, and Rybaxel.

Renee Young is backstage with the Big Show. She asks for his thoughts heading into tonight’s match against Bray Wyatt. Big Show sighs before saying what The Wyatt Family did to John Cena on RAW was twisted. The three of them are intimidating. The Wyatt Family has a way of making you question yourself because some of what Bray Wyatt says kind of makes sense. That’s part of their plan. That’s how they suck you into their sick, demented morass. Tonight he has a giant problem on his hands, but so do they.
