“WWE: Then. Now. Forever.”

We go to highlights from RAW this past Monday, where Roman Reigns talks about bringing the big fight to AJ Styles at Payback. Anyone in this new era is gonna get it too, because this is the era of the Roman Empire. AJ Styles comes out, saying he’s gotta have the match of his life…but having the match of my life is what I do! Shortly after AJ left the ring, Gallows and Anderson run in with an attack on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Later that night, AJ says he had no idea they were gonna be there, and that he doesn’t need his friends to beat Reigns for the title. Roman says to bring all his friends, it doesn’t matter…one versus all. With that, the Smackdown intro brings us to a packed arena in London for another exciting episode! The Miz is already in the ring with Maryse for a special edition of MizTV!

MizTV with Special Guest: AJ Styles

Maryse tells the crowd to get on their feet and show respect, and help her welcome her husband, your Intercontinental Champion, the biggest American movie star in the whole world, The Miz! Miz welcomes them to the most talked about talk show in the world, MizTV! His guest tonight says he has nothing with his friends Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson attacking Roman Reigns on Monday Night RAW. Get on your feet and welcome my guest, the Phenomenal AJ Styles! Styles makes his way to the ring, before taking a seat on the chair next to Miz. Miz says before they get to the topic at hand, I wanna take you back to 2014. You, Gallows, and Anderson ran roughshod through the competition. Thick at thieves, am I right? Styles agrees, also noting the five titles between the three of them and the fact the last time he and Miz were in the ring together, he knocked out two of Miz’s teeth! Miz mockingly laughs, saying “good for you” before moving on, saying two years together in the business you get to know people pretty well…so did you do it? Did you tell them to attack Roman Reigns? AJ tells Miz the same thing he told Roman to his face on Monday, that he had nothing to do with that attack. Miz continues to egg AJ on, claiming AJ’s inaction in not telling them NOT to attack Roman Reigns gave them permission to do so. AJ says he doesn’t need anyone’s help to beat Roman Reigns, and he plans to prove that at Payback. Miz says he sees AJ’s game, to have his friends attack the champion and deny, deny, deny, but a need is not weak, a need is a need, and AJ says he’s a better “rassler” than Reigns, but he is bigger than you and he is THE guy…and in order to beat the guy, you need help from your guys. Miz tells AJ to admit it, going into movie quote mode telling AJ to “tell the truth.” Maryse says that is so sexy, prompting Miz to say she is an inspiration to him. Maryse says “I love you” and Miz tells her to say it again, to which he responds “I know” before they begin making out. Miz turns his attention back to AJ, who punches Miz square in the jaw! AJ leaves the ring as his music hits, and commentary hypes a big tag match for later tonight as Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn take on Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens! We see Kalisto and Ryback in a backstage split-screen, on their way to a rematch up next!

It wasn’t the first or last time I’ve been sneak attacked, but tonight my partner Sami Zayn and I are gonna make those guys feel like two pounds of leftover spotted dick! Sami Zayn says above all else, we need to win this. Back from commercial, Enzo and Big Cass make their way to the ring as we look at the semifinals of the tag tournament from RAW. Enzo’s got the mic, and reminds us that he is a certified G and a bonafide stud…and you can’t teach that! This right here is Big Cass, and he’s seven foot tall, and you can’t teach that! Bada boom, realest guys in the room…how you doin’? Before they can continue, we’re interrupted by–

“Gather round everyone, and witness the debonair devastation of such exquisite sophistication! Aiden English, Simon Gotch…the Vaudevillains!”

The Vaudevillains appear with a mic for each, as Aiden starts. Gentlemen, and I use that loosely, everyone here is sick and tired of the egomaniacal ramblings of a fool. Then again, it doesn’t surprise me considering it’s coming out of the mouth of someone who looks like a rodent with a bad case of the mange. Enzo says let’s be fair, we gotta couple haters. Well Butterscotch Simon Gotch, and Aiden “Can’t Stop Hatin'” English, if you wanna come out here using big words, you keep reading them books and we’ll keep writing them…how you doin’? Cause unbeknownst to you, we some G’s…and the G stands for Gentlemen. I’ll keep it 100…that whole thing about rodent mange? I have no idea what the hell that meant! I do know one thing, I’m the hybrid kid and you couldn’t hit me if we were in that phone booth! You are looking at the leopard shepherd…I’m as quick as a cat and fast as a feline, and I ain’t yin…but I swear I’m a dog! Gotch says all childish rhymes and alliteration aside, you two are going to learn a very harsh lesson and it’s no laughing matter. English says boys, and I use that very specifically, we may have cut our teeth in the same place but this is very much a man’s world, and who better than two real men to remind you of the values of a bygone era that we represent with class and dignity! Gotch says at Payback, when we’re standing victoriously over you, we’ll be the one to ask politely, how ARE you doing? Enzo says we got class but more like a half day, and we’re doing great! Cass says we are doing great, and at Payback you won’t be doing too well. We will walk out of there the number one contender to the WWE Tag Team Championship! And there will still be only ONE word to describe you, and I’m gonna spell it out for you: S-A-W-F-T…SAWWWWWWFT! Backstage we see Jericho and Owens backstage, giving the staff some trouble as our main event is up next!
