A “YOU DESERVE IT” chant breaks out. Ziggler holds up the title and says we did it. He talks about letting his emotions get the better of him in recent weeks, but didn’t know if he was going to be here tonight for Smackdown Live. Ziggler said if you don’t believe him you can check the preview button on the guide for this very show. He didn’t know if Sunday at No Mercy was going to be the last time for him in WWE. Ziggler said he thought maybe he made a mistake putting it all on the line. “I did have to do this.” He said he knew this is where he belongs. “This is my home. And no matter what, at No Mercy, The Miz, Maryse, The Spirit Squad, hell was going to freeze over, but I was walking out your Intercontinental champion.”

He said we have not reached the end of the story. “This is just act two.” Miz said Ziggler as champion is a temporary layover and that a final act is coming where the hero gets the girl. He said he already has the girl and he is going to be getting his title back.

Ziggler asks Miz if he was crying and asks if he plants to cry right now. Miz asks Ziggler if he thinks this is funny. He said that face he made on Sunday was feeling everything getting ripped away from him. The crowd starts up a “YOU WERE CRYING” chant. Miz cuts off Ziggler and talks about taking his very, very seriously. He tells Ziggler to imagine what he will do to get it back if he worked as hard as he did to keep him. “I’m not done with you. And neither are they.”
