ECW Thoughts

Wowza, what a main event! Christian and Ryder had a decent amount of time and gave it everything they had. First the good – both men looked very strong and Ryder was instantly elevated to main event level. The bad – Christian really needs to stop going to the top rope every move. I?m a high flyer fan, but he seem to be perched on the turnbuckle every five seconds which really wasn?t necessary. Regardless, I look forward to these two squaring off again, it will be treat.

Kozlov is a beast? but so is Zeke! I love the way they are building this feud up. The crowd really wants to see the two of them lock up and the WWE would be wise to exploit that desire. Or we might just have it unhyped on free TV but hey I can always hope.

Goldust has just looked awesome since being drafted to ECW. He seems to be in great shape. The crowd rightfully buys into him now and wants to see him win, thus legitimizing his opponent’s victories.

Tyler Reks and Burchill squared off continuing their feud in what was another ok match. It wasn?t bad, but it is highly forgettable. On the plus side Reks? theme song is really grooving? so that’s something?
