Live coverage of WWE No Mercy will begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (7:00 CT).

During the kickoff show, Curt Hawkins cut a promo and did what he promised: show up in the ring at No Mercy. American Alpha and The Hype Bros defeated The Vaudevillains and The Ascension in an eight man tag team match.

A video package runs focusing on The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and AJ Styles defending the WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match to kick off the show tonight.

We go live to the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento where a huge display of pyro goes off.

John Cena is out first to kick off the show tonight.

WWE World Championship – Triple Threat Match
AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose

We get ring introductions for the champion AJ Styles and the challengers John Cena and Dean Ambrose before the match officially gets underway.

The bell rings and here we go. Ambrose with shots early on Cena and Styles. All three men go down with Cena hitting a double clothesline on Styles and Ambrose. Ambrose shakes off a headbutt from Cena and stomps away in the corner. Ambrose dropkicks Styles out of the ring. Ambrose sends Styles into the ring barricade and then drives him head first off one of the announce tables at ringside. Ambrose kicks Cena in the face, jumps, Cena catches Ambrose and drives him spine first into the steel ring post. Styles with a springboard forearm catching Cena on the outside. Cena with a double german suplex on Styles and Ambrose. Styles with a forearm that sends Ambrose to the outside. Styles counters an AA attempt and catches Cena with a Pele Kick! Ambrose with a two count on Styles off a sunset flip. Styles with an inverted DDT on Ambrose, catches Cena and also brings him down in a DDT! Ambrose with elbows to Styles. Styles sends Ambrose out and Ambrose catches part of the steel ring steps. Cena with a flipping roll up on Styles for another two count. Styles with a torture rack into a powerbomb on Cena for a two count. Styles catches Cena in a sleeper. Cena breaks free and Ambrose catches him in a sleeper. Cena sends Ambrose into Styles in the corner. Cena with shoulder blocks and a twisting powerbomb on Ambrose. Styles drops Cena face first off the mat to cut him off. Ambrose drops Styles down face first. Cena with shoulder blocks to Styles along with his twisting powerbomb plant. Ambrose with a flying elbow off the top rope catching Cena for a two count. Styles catches Cena with a springboard flying forearm. Cena is out of the ring. Styles counters Dirty Deeds by Ambrose. Styles with a huricanrana takedown off the top rope, but Ambrose rolls through for a two count. Styles with a roll up for another two count. Styles and Ambrose with a double clothesline as Cena rolls back inside the ring. Double five knuckle shuffle on Ambrose and Styles. AA on Ambrose, hooks the leg and Ambrose kicks out. Cena with an STF on Ambrose. Styles breaks it up. Styles with a suplex on Cena over the ring apron! Styles with a 450 Splash over Ambrose and Ambrose kicks out. Styles rakes the eyes (which is legal under No DQ rules tonight) of Ambrose and hits the Styles Clash. Cena grabs Styles and locks him in the STF. Ambrose is holding the arm of Styles up to prevent the tap. Ambrose attacks Cena to break up the submission. Cena has both Ambrose and Styles up. Styles and Ambrose break it up. All three men are down after a series of counters with Cena sending Styles into Ambrose and Ambrose dropping Cena. Cena catches Styles, throws him up on his shoulders, Styles rolls up Cena and then gets the Calf Crusher applied! Ambrose breaks it up with an elbow. Ambrose with a Calf Crusher on Styles. Cena jumps on Styles and applies the STF. Styles taps.

The bell rings. Cena and Ambrose are celebrating. Cena and Ambrose are going at it. Ambrose with Dirty Deeds on Cena. It appears the match will continue. Ambrose with a suicide dive catching Styles on the outside. Ambrose tosses Styles over the announce table. Ambrose is going up top and Cena is cutting him off with right hands. Cena has Ambrose up on his shoulders and comes off the corner with a huge AA! Styles slides back in with a steel chair in hand (which is legal). Styles hits Cena in the gut and over the back with the steel chair. Styles drops down and covers Ambrose to get the pinfall to retain.

Winner and still WWE World Champion: AJ Styles

After the match, we see a shot of John Cena recovering on the outside as AJ Styles grabs the WWE World Championship and starts celebrating on the corner.

A video package runs hyping Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt later tonight.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

Nikki grabs Carmella by the hair and tosses her across the ring early. Nikki with a big slap to Carmella and starts choking her against the ropes. Nikki again tosses Carmella across the ring and then connects with a knee to the face. Nikki with a baseball slide dropkick catching Carmella. Carmella then drops Nikki face first off the ring barricade. Carmella sends Nikki back first into the screen ring apron and hits with a thud. The referee gets to 7 and Carmella puts her back inside the ring. Carmella with a headlock on Nikki. Carmella with a Bronco Buster on Nikki in the corner. Carmella sends Nikki to the corner and starts pulling on her hair. Nikki with a tackle takedown on Carmella from the corner. Nikki with dropkicks to Carmella. Nikki with a corner clothesline and then a springboard kick to the face. Nikki with a facebuster to Carmella for a two count. Carmella with a head scissors takedown followed by a superkick for a two count on Nikki. Nikki with a small package for two on Carmella. Carmella drops Nikki down face first into her Code of Silence submission. Nikki breaks free and connects with a big forearm to Carmella. Carmella rolls over the top of Nikki and gets the Code of Silence applied again. Nikki gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Carmella slaps Nikki and starts throwing wild right hands. Nikki with the Rack Attack 2.0 off her shoulders on Carmella out of no where and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Backstage, we see Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon watching live when WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Maryse walk up. Miz said the night is going great and it will get even better when he retires Dolph Ziggler. He wants to renegotiate his contract as well when he beats Ziggler with some extra money being freed up.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships Match
Heath Slater and Rhyno (c’s) vs. The Usos

We start with Rhyno and Jimmy Uso. Lock up and Rhyno pushes Jey away.  Rhyno with shots to Jimmy in the corner and tags in Heath Slater. Slater with a flying forearm to Jimmy in the corner and then eats an uppercut from Jimmy. Tag to Jey Uso who chops Slater. Jey with repeated scoop slams on Slater. Tag to Jimmy and Rhyno. Rhyno with shots to Jimmy and a shot to Jey in the corner. Rhyno with with a charging spear to Jimmy in the corner and follows it up with a belly-to-belly suplex. Rhyno with a shot to Jey. Tag to Jey who splashes Rhyno in the corner. Jey with stomps to Rhyno.  Jimmy gets the tag and keeps Rhyno grounded. Quick tag back to Jey who connects with a dropkick to the head of Rhyno. Tag to Jimmy who drops an elbow over the head of Rhyno. Rhyno with a spinebuster on Jimmy. Hot tag to Slater and tag to Jey. Slater drops Jey in the corner and throws jabs. Slater catches Jey with a high knee and a side kick to Jimmy who jumps in. Slater with a neckbreaker on Jey. Slater with a roll up on Jey for a two count. Jey with a jumping samoan drop on Slater that results in a two count. Tag to Jimmy. Rhyno pulls Jey out. Jimmy catches Rhyno with a dropkick through the ropes. Jimmy catches Slater with a right hand on the outside. Jimmy is going up top, Slater jumps up and gives Jimmy a powerslam off the top turnbuckle! Slater goes for the cover and Jimmy kicks out. Jimmy with a superkick to Slater. Tag to Jey who drops a kick on the lower leg of Slater. Rhyno with a Gore to Jimmy on the outside. Jey is applying a modified Boston Crab when Rhyno is in to break it up. Rhyno returns to his corner and is trying to fire up the crowd for a tag. Tag to Rhyno. Gore on Jey. Rhyno hooks the leg of Jey and gets the pinfall to retain the titles.

Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin goes after Swagger right away. Swagger counters an irish whip, sends Corbin out, Corbin slides out and eats a clothesline on his way back in. Swagger clotheslines Corbin over the top rope and Swagger sends him shoulder first into the barricade. Swagger bounces the face of Corbin off an announce table at ringside. Corbin kicks the steel steps when Swagger had his hands on him and then follows with a clothesline. Swagger is clutching his hand. Back inside, Corbin goes to work  on the left arm/hand of Swagger. Corbin is now standing on the hand of Swagger near the ropes. Swagger fights back with right hands. Corbin with a shoulder bump sending Swagger to the corner. Corbin works over the fingers of Swagger. Swagger drops Corbin face first off the corner post. Swagger with repeated corner clotheslines on Corbin and follows it up with a big takedown. Swagger Bomb on Corbin, Swagger hooks the leg and Corbin kicks out. Corbin with a big twisting powerbomb plant on Swagger. Corbin with a right hand to Swagger. Swagger comes firing back with a big clothesline. Swagger has the Patriot Lock applied. Corbin is reaching for the ropes. Swagger pulls Corbin out some more. Corbin gets to the apron and the referee calls for the break. Corbin pokes the eye of Swagger with the referee distracted. End of Days by Corbin and he gets the pinfall on Swagger.

A video package airs hyping The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
If Dolph Ziggler loses, he must retire
The Miz (c) w/ Maryse vs. Dolph Ziggler

We get introductions for the challenger Dolph Ziggler and champion The Miz. Ziggler goes after Miz right away with a series of shots including a big standing dropkick. Ziggler and Miz both go over the top rope. Back inside, Ziggler catches Miz with another big dropkick. Miz with a shot over the back of Ziggler against the ropes. Miz catches Ziggler with a big kick to the face coming off the ropes. Miz catapults Ziggler into the bottom rope with force. Miz with his inverted DDT and neckbreaker combo on Ziggler. Miz with repeated dropkicks in the corner on Ziggler. Miz does a Daniel Bryan “YES!” pose afterwards. Ziggler catches Miz with a big dropkick from the corner. Ziggler with a Stinger Splash, swinging neckbreaker and drops a flying elbow over Miz for a two count. Miz attempts a powerbomb bouncing Ziggler off the top rope, but Ziggler countered into a roll up. Miz tries a roll up using the ropes and the referee notices stopping the count. Series of roll ups between the two. Miz kicks away the knee of Ziggler and connects with a spike DDT for a two count. Ziggler avoids a Figure Four attempt and gets the left leg of Ziggler wrapped up in the corner. Miz kicks the knee of Ziggler, goes for a Figure Four and Ziggler with a small package for a two count. Miz with his corner clothesline on Ziggler. Miz is going up top and Ziggler crotches him hitting the top rope. Miz with a sunset flip off the top, Ziggler hangs on, Miz tries to bounce Ziggler off the top rope, Ziggler with a roll up, Miz counters and gets the Figure Four applied. Ziggler is close to the bottom rope and Miz pulls him to the middle. Ziggler claws his way to the bottom rope to break it up. Maryse is up on the ring apron. Miz is removing top turnbuckle pad with the referee distracted. Ziggler with a Rough Ryder on Miz for a two count. Miz avoids a Zig Zag and sends Ziggler face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Miz has Ziggler up, bounces him off the top rope and drops down into a sitdown powerbomb for a close two count! Miz can’t believe it. Miz with Daniel Bryan style kicks to the chest of Ziggler. Zig Zag on Miz when Miz goes for a big kick and Ziggler counters. Miz kicks out. The fans are getting fired up in support of Ziggler. Ziggler with a roll up for two. Ziggler has a sleeper applied on Miz. Miz reaches out and gets to the bottom rope. Maryse sprays Ziggler in the face at ringside. Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale. Ziggler gets his foot on the bottom rope during the pinfall attempt. Miz thinks he won the match and the referee is explaining no. Miz with left hands to the leg of Ziggler. Miz pulls the boot off of Ziggler. Ziggler with a superkick on Miz. Ziggler, clutching his leg, is crawling over to cover. Maryse is calling for help. Mikey and Kenny of The Spirit Squad are out distracting the referee. Superkick on Mikey. Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale. Ziggler kicks out! Miz can’t believe it. Kenny tries to hit Ziggler and the referee stops it. The referee kicks Maryse, Mikey and Kenny to the back. Miz turns around. Ziggler catches him with a superkick. Ziggler hooks the leg to get the win!

Winner and new WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Dolph Ziggler grabs the WWE Intercontinental Championship and walks around at ringside celebrating with fans in attendance. We then see a shot of a very upset and angry Miz as Ziggler heads to the back with the title in hand.

Backstage, Randy Orton is looking in a mirror and his reflection becomes distorted.

We hear from the No Mercy panel featuring Lita, Booker T and Jerry Lawler.

Alexa Bliss is headed to the ring and grabs a mic. She talks about Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon protecting the “pathetic” Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Bliss thinks Becky had a hang nail. “The real reason is because of me.” She said Becky was afraid to lose her title to her. Bliss gets cut off when Naomi’s music hits.

Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi

Bliss with a shoulder tackle early on Naomi. Bliss with a kick to the head of Naomi. Naomi with a series of kicks and then a split legged moonsault from the corner over Bliss. Bliss with a stiff sounding forearm to Naomi. Bliss throws Naomi down over the ring apron. Bliss is working over the left arm of Naomi. Bliss puts Naomi on her back and stomps away at the left arm. Bliss goes back to applying pressure to the left arm. Bliss sends Naomi face first into the middle turnbuckle. Naomi catches Bliss with a dropkick and then connects with her jumping rear to the face. Bliss with an armbar on Naomi. Naomi rolls out, puts Bliss on her shoulders and holds her down to get the pinfall! Bliss can’t believe it.

Winner: Naomi

A video package runs hyping the RAW-only Hell in a Cell PPV on October 30. Michael Cole hypes Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Championship, Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship and Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship. Only Reigns vs. Rusev will take place in the cell.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

Orton goes for an RKO early and Wyatt quickly rolls out laughing. Wyatt returns to the ring, lock up and Wyatt with a quick uppercut. Orton with right hands. Wyatt with a knee and uppercut combo to cut off Orton. Wyatt with a double chop to the throat of Orton. Orton fires back slamming Wyatt down on the mat and stomping parts of his body including a knee drop to the side of the face. Orton with uppercuts to Wyatt in the corner. Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail and Orton counters sending Wyatt to the outside. Wyatt counters another RKO attempt and sends Orton flying over the announce table. Wyatt starts breaking up the steel steps when Orton takes him out with a quick clothesline. Orton tosses Wyatt back inside. When Orton jumps back up, Wyatt gets in a shot and sends Orton flying into the ring barricade. Wyatt mocks Orton doing his pose up on the corner. Orton rolls back in and Wyatt starts stomping away. Wyatt with a senton splash over Orton. Orton with right hands. Wyatt splash Orton in the corner. Wyatt with a headlock on Orton. Wyatt with a DDT over the ring apron on Orton, goes for a cover and Orton kicks out. Wyatt with a scoop slam on Orton. Wyatt gets up on the second rope in the corner, jumps and misses a splash when Orton moves. Wyatt landed with a loud thud. Orton with an exploder clothesline from the corner. Orton catches Wyatt with a snap powerslam and gets a two count. Series of counters. Wyatt plants Orton with a modified Rock Bottom. Wyatt sends Orton out of the ring. Wyatt puts Orton on top of the steel steps at ringside, backs up, runs, jumps and Orton moves as Wyatt splashes his back over the steps at ringside! Orton breaks the count and throws Wyatt face first off the announce table a few times. Orton launches Wyatt into the ring barricade and then drops Wyatt back first off the top of the barricade. Orton pulls Wyatt back in and hits his DDT off the ropes. Orton is firing up and getting the crowd into it. Orton is getting ready to hit an RKO when the lights go out. When they return, Luke Harper is standing in the ring and is staring down Orton. Wyatt with Sister Abigail on Orton and gets the pinfall!

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper smile at each other. Harper helps Wyatt to his feet. We see a replay of Luke Harper returning. JBL quickly reminds everyone about the No DQ rules tonight. Back live, Wyatt and Harper pose to close the show.
