John Cena (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
The bell rings and here we go. They immediately point out John Cena’s left elbow on commentary as Cena gets in a quick headlock takedown on Bryan. Bryan fights out quickly. Lock of the hands and Cena trips up Bryan keeping his shoulders on the mat. Bryan gets his shoulders elevated each time avoiding a pinfall. Bryan with a monkey flip, goes for a Yes Lock early and Cena bails. Cena has words with the doctor at ringside. They ask the doctor at ringside what was discussed. The doctor informs Michael Cole that Cena said his elbow feels fine. Back in the ring, Cena goes back to the headlock takedown on Bryan. Lots of mat wrestling and counters between the two. Cena with a big shot to Bryan on the ring apron sending Bryan flying into the announce table at ringside. Bryan sends Cena into the steel steps at ringside. Bryan has Cena up on the top of the steps, Cena counters and connects with a suplex on Bryan off the steel steps to the floor. Back in the ring, Cena sends Bryan with force into the corner. Cena with a HUGE powerbomb on Bryan that results in a two count. Bryan with elbows to the head of Cena. Crowd chanting “YES” with each strike connecting. Bryan with kicks to the chest repeatedly. Cena walks forward with a big knee to the gut. Bryan with a big clothesline. Bryan with stiff kicks to the chest of Cena.
Cena ducks the final kick to the head, connects with his shoulder tackle and executes his spinning powerbomb plant. Huge booing from the crowd in Los Angeles. Cena calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle when Bryan kicks him in the face. Cena is down, grabs Bryan by the legs, gets him back down, Bryan is up and Cena again connects with his twisting planting powerbomb. Cena connects with Five Knuckle Shuffle. Bryan counters an early FU attempt and kicks Cena in the face from the corner. Bryan connects with a top rope missile dropkick that results in a two count. Bryan back with more body kicks and yells at Cena to get up. Bryan drops the bad left elbow of Cena off his shoulder. More kicks to the back of Cena by Bryan. Cena trips up Bryan with a drop toe hold, Bryan gets Cena tripped up and then locks the STF on Cena. Cena is pulling himself towards the ropes. Cena gets close. Bryan breaks the hold, picks up Cena on one leg and connects with a german suplex into a bridge for a two count. Bryan hangs on and connects with a second German Suplex for another two count. Cena powers out of a third attempt, Bryan counters and gets the Yes Lock applied. Cena is trying to power out of the submission. Cena is out and on his feet. Bryan jumps on Cena and gets a full body guillotine choke applied dropping down to the mat.
Cena fights to his feet, pushes Bryan into the Bryan, Bryan hangs on and Cena finally breaks free sending Bryan back first into the corner. Cena with the AA out of no where. Bryan kicks out! Loud “YES!” reaction from the crowd. Cena can’t believe it. Cena goes up to the top turnbuckle. Bryan cuts him off. Cena pushes Bryan off. Bryan is back up and connects with a big elbow. Cena again swats Bryan away. Bryan charges in with a flying dropkick to the head of Cena. Bryan with a headbutt to Cena. Bryan with a superplex to Cena and hangs on to the top turnbuckle with his legs. Bryan fires himself up and sits back up on the top turnbuckle. Bryan stands up, jumps and connects with the flying headbutt from the top. Bryan with the cover and Cena kicks out after two. Cena quickly rolls out of the ring. Bryan hits the ropes looking for a suicide dive when Cena jumps up and connects with a big elbow to cut him off. Cena goes up top, jumps and connects with his top rope leg drop. Cena with a cover and Bryan again kicks out after two. Cena picks up Bryan and sits him up on the top turnbuckle. Cena sits up on the top turnbuckle and puts Bryan on his shoulders. Bryan fighting back dropping elbows over the neck of Cena. Bryan attempts a snap huricanrana. Cena hangs on. Bryan appears to drop Bryan on top of his head.
Bryan seems okay. Cena drops Bryan down and goes for the STF. Cena gets it locked in and Bryan turns over putting Cena partially on his back with one shoulder off the mat. Triple H is checkign on Bryan. Bryan counters into the Yes Lock. Cena gets to the ropes breaking free. Bryan with repeated shots in the corner. Cena cuts off Bryan with a huge clothesline exploding from the corner! Cena and Bryan exchanging shots. Both men catch each other in the air as they meet in the center of the ring. Cena and Bryan are up using each other to stand. Cena slaps Bryan. Bryan slaps Cena back. They exchange repeated slaps. Bryan gets the better of Cena with slaps. Cena cuts off Bryan. Cena has Bryan up on his shoulders. Bryan with a counter connecting with a big DDT. Bryan is back up top. Bryan jumps, Cena catches Bryan, tosses Bryan to his shoulders, Bryan counters and gets a two count off a small package. Bryan immediately responds with a kick to the head. Bryan starts a loud “YES” chant. Bryan with a huge flying knee to the head of Cena. Bryan hooks the leg and gets the pinfall!
Winner and new WWE Champion: Daniel Bryan
After the match, Daniel Bryan can’t believe it. Triple H hands Bryan the WWE Champion. Bryan begins to celebrate with the title. Cena pushes Bryan during his celebration. Cena shakes hands with Bryan. Cena also shakes hands with Triple H. Bryan kicks off a loud “YES” chant. Special guest referee Triple H raises his arm. Confetti starts to fill the Staples Center. Pyro goes off in the entrance area.
Randy Orton’s music hits. Orton has the “Money in the Bank” briefcase in hand. Orton holds the briefcase up near the ring staring down Bryan. Orton turns and leaves as Bryan starts another “YES” chant. Triple H then kicks Bryan and gives him a Pedigree. Orton hands in his briefcase. Triple H calls for the bell.

Randy Orton drops down, hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.
Winner and new WWE Champion: Randy Orton
After the match, Randy Orton is handed the WWE Championship and holds it high up on the corner. We see highlights of Triple H attacking Bryan, Orton cashing in and becoming the new champion. Back live, Randy Orton has the WWE Championship over his shoulder as Triple H raises his arm to close the show.
