Raw Guest host Snoop Doggy Dogg came out to the ring with Eve and the Bella Twins. He put over the Triple H-John Cena match later tonight in addition to putting Randy Orton in a match. He said the WWE Champion would be taking on the man who pinned him last week, Ted Dibiase.
DX came to the ring and spoke like Snoop Dogg for a little while before running down the Smackdown team for Bragging Rights. They made fun of Jericho for losing to both of them at Wrestlemania. They made fun of Kane for Triple H's ?relationship? with his ?ex-girlfriend?. They made fun of Cryme Tyme for selling the left over tickets that no one buys to Smackdown and have no idea who Drew McIntyre and ?that other guy who boffs Vickie Guererro is?.
They said while that team was fun, they were no Team Raw. They introduced the Raw team and moved on down the line introducing them along the way. They made fun of Mark Henry for looking like the Kool Aid man. Kofi lost his Jamaican accent, Swagger no-sold a joke and just smiled and Big show almost performed prison rape on Cody Rhodes. All in all, it was pretty entertaining stuff.
Triple H said he needed to find out if there was a weak link on the team though, so in order to make sure this was a good team, there?d be a match against some other Raw superstars. If someone on their team took the fall, they?d be replaced by whoever pinned them. Their opponents came down the aisle and we?re ready for a match.
****Commercial****Mark Henry, Big Show, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Cody Rhodes vs. MVP, Chavo Guererro, Evan Bourne, Primo and Chris Masters
Chavo hit a big arm drag on Kofi, only for Kingston to hit a leap frog series of punches. Mark Henry and Big Show fought over who made the tag only for Cody to interject himself. MVP gained an advantage, fighting Rhodes back with some right hands. Rhodes hit a kick to the gut, but then charged MVP and was hurled across the ring with an MVP belly to belly throw.
Evan Bourne tagged into the match only to get clamped in a headlock. He fought out with some kicks to the leg before Cody was able to get him up for a vertical suplex. Bourne kneed out of the suplex attempt and tagged Primo, who hit a springboard chop and a body slam. Primo fired up and went for a drop kick, only for Rhodes to hit a big cross Rhodes. Swagger made a blind tag and made the tag, stealing Cody Rhodes? thunder. Winner: Team Raw via pin fall
After the match, everything with Team Raw broke down as everyone ended up beating on each other. OMG DISSENSION~
Ted Dibiase is with Joey Matthews backstage. He said he took an opportunity last week. Orton walked in none-too-pleased at the situation. Orton said if he was Ted, he would listen carefully. He said they?d have a match and he wouldn?t be allowed to fight back. He was going to finally show him the respect he deserves. He said if he didn?t, he?d be thrown out of Legacy.
****Commercial****Randy Orton vs. Ted Dibiase
Orton stared down Ted before planting a kick to his gut. They stared again as Orton hit a European uppercut. He booted Ted to the mat and began hitting the Garvin stomps while telling Ted to not even think about fighting back. Orton kept goading him. He kept shoving and prodding at Ted before Ted snapped and shoved Orton to a colossal pop, but he didn?t follow up. He looked super conflicted, but wouldn?t follow up the shove. Orton got in his face and RKO?d him for the win. One of the best done segments this year.Winner: Randy Orton via pin fall
A tribute video to the late Captain Lou Albano aired.
A preview of Snoop Dogg's ?Gangsta love? aired.
Hornswoggle and Snoop are in the back. Chavo interrupts. He said he wants to be on Team Raw. He wants some love from Snoop. Santino is dressed up as Charlie Brown. Jillian's now singing. No one knows what's going on, but it's funny. Now Snoop is smoking weed and I?m getting a ?technical difficulties? screen with Michael Cole with his arm around Hornswoggle. Now we?re back and Snoop is talking about scented candles. That was amazing.
****Commercial****John Cena vs. Triple H
The two started off trading head scissors and side headlock take downs. Cena grabbed a second headlock and wrenched it in as Triple H fought to his knees and out of the hold. Triple H shot Cena off the ropes only to get arm dragged and tossed into the corner. The two stared each other down as Cena smirked.
The two locked up again with Triple H gaining the advantage and whipping Cena HARD to the buckles. He followed up with a second super-hard Irish whip, and pursued Cena into the corner and looked for a pedigree. Cena countered out and flipped Triple H up and over the top rope and to the floor.
We came back to Triple H still in control, as he uncorked a huge back breaker. He slapped on a bow and arrow that Cena fought out of. He backed Triple H up with some punches and hit a shoulder block. He went to follow up, only for Triple H to dodge and cut block him. Triple H went for a second cut block, only for Cena to side step him and attempt an STFU.
Triple H made it to the ropes and broke the hold, but couldn?t stop the Cena momentum. Cena overwhelmed Triple H, hitting a fisherman's suplex and then an inverted power bomb. He again looked for an STFU and after a great struggle, finally slapped it on, but Triple H broke it in the ropes. Cena charged Triple H, only to eat a kick to the gut and a pedigree, but managed to get a foot on the ropes.
The two went back and forth hard before Triple H hit a big knee to the face and a face buster. He hit a huge lariat and loaded Cena up for a big spine buster and connected. Triple H capped it off with a huge pedigree but Cena kicked out. Cena caught a surprise FU, but Triple H returned the favor and kicked out. Cena got desperate and went for his top rope leg drop, but whiffed badly. The two struggled for another finishing move, and Triple H won, hitting a third pedigree for the win.Winner: Triple H via pin fall
After the match, Triple H shook Cena's hand. Cena sold it like it was really his last match.
****Commercial****The Miz vs. Marty Jannetty
Jannetty looked for a roll up at first but didn?t get a count. He amped the crowd up a bit and fired some right hands at the Miz's face. He missed a splash in the corner and Miz turned him inside out with a lariat. Marty got the crowd going as he was stuck in a rear chin lock and hit a back suplex.
Marty fought Miz off on the apron and hit a high elbow before hitting a clothesline and a back body drop. Marty went for a cover, but Miz kicked out. Janetty looked for a Rocker dropped only to get caught up on a nasty hot shot. Miz caught Janetty in a skull crushing finale and that's it. Winner: The Miz via pin fall
****Commercial****WWE Divas Championship
Melina vs. Jillian Hall
Jillian hit a fall away slam and looked for her handspring elbow, but Hornswoggle distracted Chavo Guererro at ringside. Melina hit her final cut and won the match. Just like that. Jillian was robbed.Winner and STILL Divas Champion: Melina via pin fall
After the match, Chavo went to manhandle Hornswoggle but Snoop Dogg came down to make the save. Chavo goaded Snoop before snoop hit a spear on Chavo. He then celebrated in the ring with the Divas and Hornswoggle.
A video putting over the Orton-Cena feud aired.
Cole and Lawler ran down the Bragging Rights Card.
****Commercial****Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels
Jericho got in the ring and said he had outthought HBK. The Smackdown team came out and cornered Michaels. The cavalry showed up in the form of Triple H and team Raw and they stared each other down in the ring and talked trash. Vickie Guererro came out and as a consultant to team Smackdown, said there would be no fighting tonight. Raw didn?t listen and we got a huge brawl as we went off the air.
RAW THOUGHTSShow Thoughts--
From the opening bell to the last segment, the show was a hit, almost segment by segment. Triple H and Michaels delivered a legitimately funny DX segment. Ted Dibiase and Randy Orton pulled off one of the most emotional moments of the year thus far. Santino dressed like Charlie Brown, Jillian sang Gin and Juice, Snoop Dog pretended to smoke weed.. behind a Michael Cole embrace of Hornswoggle, John Cena and Triple H had one of their better matches together, Marty Jannetty showed up, Snoop Dog spizzled Chavo, Vickie Guererro got more heat then any heel on the roster has in three months by saying two words and then we got a shmoz brawl to take it all home. I mean really, is there much more you?d want out of a Monday Night Raw?
Time for LIST MANIA~
- Dibiase and Orton tore the house down tonight. I think everyone got a real taste (not just a tease) of just how much natural baby face charisma Dibiase has. He got one of the most genuine face reactions anyone's gotten all year. Hats off to him on a career night. He's finally coming into his own.
- I give the devils their due. I have enjoyed the DX return despite entirely not expecting to at all. Still though, and I?m not a Triple HOMGPOLITIKS!~ guy? but THREE segments from the Game tonight? A 20 minute segment. A 20 minute match and a five minute back and forth? 45 minutes of Triple H?
- Vickie Guererro has been gone effectively for four or five months. She's still more over than 90% of the roster and all she does is say two words and flub lines. And I?m totally fine with that.
- Jillian Hall needs to be pushed, IMO. That character is so incredibly lame, that it needs T-Shirts and statues named after it. She's hugely over the top, but hey, it makes me laugh. A lot.
- Its nice to see John Cena's getting back to his old form. He really made everything work tonight and IMO, has really helped turn this brand around in the last month and a half. Everything is dictated by the quality of your main events. If that's not interesting, then the rest of the show suffers. He's made Randy Orton interesting, but also set Randy up to be fine on his own. They may keep Cena around, they might not, but he's done a lot to keep this brand moving even as bland as its been the past six months. He deserves a tip of the cap.
- Marty Jannetty finally looks old.
- The Snoop Dog segment with Hornswoggle, the Divas, Santino, Jillian, and Chavo was the most hilariously bizarre segment I?ve seen on WWE TV in a long, long time.
- Jack Swagger's smile is pretty hilarious.
Overall, there's not a lot more to be said about the show. We got a great match, some emotional segments, some hilarious segments, some fun segments. Its definitely the best Raw of the second half of the year, maybe the best one all year.Overall Grade: AQuick Results

An absolutely fantastic segment with Ted Dibiase tonight. Really, the way they?ve easily transitioned Orton past Cena and into Dibiase, really makes me care less whether he has he belt or not. He's in a good place. United States Champion: The Miz 9-10-2, 18 Points (Last Week: US Champion)
-- Wow, Marty Jannetty was out of shape. No one seems to remember him either, so its hard to say this really helped the Miz in any way.1. Triple H 10-7-3, 17 Points (Last Week: 2)--
Good match with Cena tonight for the most part and some funny promo times in the beginning of the show. But do we really need to see him THREE times in one night? I?m just saying. One 20 minute segment, one 20 minute match and then five more minutes of verbal jousting with Jericho adds up to about a 1/3 of the show.2. John Cena 21-16-5, 47 points. (Last Week: 1)
-- Seems to finally be getting back to his old form. Get Randy Orton back on track? Check. Sell angle that may or may not happen? Check. Leave everything in good standing so IF you do leave, everything copacetic? Check. 3. Big Show 13-12-1, 21 Points (Last Week: 3)
-- This tweener thing is really odd with Show. It seems they aren?t so keen on having us see Jericho and Show together frequently. I thought the WWE were going to emphasize tag teams? Score another one, dirt sheets. 4. Shawn Michaels 12-4-1, 19 pts. (Last Week: 4)
--Someone definitely worked a part-time deal out with this guy. Sure, he's doing Raw tapings, but he sure ain?t doing much. 5. Cody Rhodes 15-14-3, 21 points (Last Week: 5)
--An OK night I guess. Decent mic work , but not much else worth noting. 6. Ted Dibiase, Jr. 12-13-3, 14 Points (Last Week: 6)
--Tonight I feel that Ted Dibiase had a genuine break out night. Flat out, one of the best segments of this year with Randy Orton. He got a sincere reaction from fans and showed just how much baby face charisma this kid has. He's hot right now, and if they?re going to push him up the card, now's the time to do it. 7. Kofi Kingston 22-6-2, 43 points (Last Week: 7)
-- No more Jamaican accent I guess. Not exactly a loss, but hey. Anyways, this tag could be the start of something substantial for Kofi should they decide to give him some good time in the match. Of course, getting time in a 7 on 7 tag match isn?t likely to happen?. For anyone. 8. Mark Henry, 12-4, 20 Points (Last Week: 8)
-- Is anyone better at playing a very bi-polar black dude than Henry? Warm and snuggly.. he's like the Bear from those laundry detergent commercials. Or Yogi. Then he gets all, did you drop the soap, boy? On white guys who are smaller. I enjoy that.9. Jack Swagger, 8-8-2, 14 Points (Last Week: 9) --
I dug Swagger no selling Michaels in the promo and the cute back and forth with Michaels trying to get him to crack a bit. 10. MVP 13-11-2, 21 Points (Last Week: 10)--
Its becoming quickly apparent to me that MVP's not going to catch on while on the Raw brand for the forseeable future. He's confused working as a face and compared to even guys lower than him on the card like Primo, he looks second rate. Some guys make it, some don?t. MVP isn?t looking so hot these days. OTHERS
