WWE Monday Night RAW Results
March 7, 2016
Chicago, Illinois
Report by: Mike Tedesco of Wrestleview.com

“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The show opens with a video recapping what happened last week with Vince McMahon and The Undertaker. The Undertaker said the blood of Shane McMahon will be on Vince’s hands, not his. Vince said he would disown Shane and write him out of his will. Shane will be a son of a bitch.

Shane McMahon’s music hits, and he comes out to a massive reception. Shane gets in the ring and dances around before posing on the turnbuckles. The crowd loudly chants, “Shane O’Mac.” Shane looks very pumped up and lets them continue to cheer. Shane says their response is overwhelming and thanks them. Shane says he loves this. Going back to last Monday night, he was watching RAW on the couch with his three sons. He heard from his opponent, The Undertaker, whom he respects greatly, and he heard from Vince McMahon. Vince said he’d write him out of his will and renounce him as his son. Shane suggested to his sons they make a new reward and give Vince “Father of the Year.” Shane says Vince is “an egomaniacal, miserable old bastard.” Shane says Vince has lost his touch with his business, fan base, reality, himself, and his grandsons. All that does just fuels him and gets him pissed off. Shane says he’ll use all of that because it is his absolute destiny to be in control of Monday Night RAW. The crowd erupts and starts a “YES” chant.

The Chairman’s tyrannical grasp on everything will stop, as will The Authority. All of the backstabbing and backstage politics will stop because it is choking the life out of this business. There are so many guys with so much talent that never get a break, and then there are those that get all the breaks and have no talent. That will stop. At WrestleMania, he doesn’t know how, but it is his destiny to defeat The Undertaker. There will be a new legacy and a new chapter in WWE when he walks out the very next night in control of Monday Night RAW.

The Undertaker’s bell tolls, and the lights go out! Vince McMahon’s music then hits, and he struts out to the stage to loud boos from the crowd. Vince asks if the crowd is disappointed, and they loudly boo him. They’re disappointed because they wanted to see The Undertaker walk down the aisle and dismember Shane. The crowd chants, “Asshole,” and Vince conducts them like a choir. Vince asks if that’s all they have. The look in Shane’s eyes showed fear. A loud “CM Punk” chant breaks out. It quickly dies out. When Shane gets in the ring with The Undertaker, he’ll experience utter terror at WrestleMania.

Vince wants to have a father-son chat. After RAW last week, he went to his desk and wrote Shane out of his will. Vince then found a photograph of him and Shane as a kid. They were going to go on their very first trip to his very first wrestling match. Vince has the image shown on the titantron. They went to Worchester, Massachusetts for Shane’s first wrestling event. Vince is holding the frame and drops it. Since Shane is no longer his son, he stomps on the glass and shatters it. Shane grew up knowing his father could never make any mistakes and thought he was invincible. He is Vincent Kennedy McMahon and Shane is just Vince’s son. Speaking of sons, that would take them to Shane’s sons, Vince’s grandsons. They’re going to watch their father fail them at WrestleMania. Shane warns him to be careful. They’ll be so disappointed as they watch their father’s dreams shattered. As they watch Shane get loaded onto an ambulance, Vince will hug them and tell them they have at least one father figure. At Vince’s greatest creation, his greatest failure will be put to rest. Shane just stares at him.

Vince calls for security to come out and escort Shane out of the building. Four security guards stop at the top of the stage and then walk down. Shane warns them not to touch him. He’ll walk out peacefully on his own accord. Shane says he’s very amped up. Vince orders them to get him. One guy gets in the ring and begins to go for Shane. Vince screams for the guy to get Shane out of there. Shane then unloads on the guy with some rapid punches. The rest of the security guards get in, but Shane punches them out and throws one out of the ring. Shane invites Vince into the ring as the crowd showers him with praise.

The commentators talk about what just happened.

She says she doesn’t remember that and she’s still his boss. Ziggler says history will repeat itself with Shane McMahon. Stephanie says The Undertaker will decimate Shane. She then puts Ziggler in a match against three members of the League of Nations.

We’ll hear from Dean Ambrose, next.

-Commercial Break-

Dean Ambrose’s music hits, and he comes out to a big reception from the crowd. Ambrose gets in the ring and angrily stares into the hard camera with his arms extended. Ambrose says the road to WrestleMania was free and clear. Ambrose was getting off on the Suplex City exit while Triple H planned on taking on Roman Reigns. Then he threatened to screw everything up by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on March 12. Ambrose says he doesn’t care about what Triple H or Roman Reigns’ plans were. This Saturday, he’s hijacking the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and hijacking WrestleMania.

This poor attitude of his has gotten him into trouble. Triple H tried to beat the respect of The Authority into him with his bare hands on the commentary table. Ambrose says, “Nice try!” Ambrose says Triple H will respect him at Road Block when he drills his head into the canvas, pins him, and stands over him with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H will respect him because he will be the face of their company. His face will be on Oprah and People Magazine. Ambrose and Triple H will be at ribbon cutting ceremonies and talk to kids at school. Ambrose says he loves kids – they’re just like regular people, only smaller. Ambrose says he’s the living embodiment of “Don’t try this at home.” Ambrose then says he’ll make Triple H buy him nice suits, and then says he’ll never wear one. All of the extracurricular activities that come along with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship don’t sound appealing, but being the champion does. Ambrose wants to face the best of the best and give the crowd the champion they deserve.

Triple H’s music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship makes his way out to the stage smirking. Triple H says Ambrose has a fun fantasy, but he has to ruin it for him. The reality is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will stay with him as long as he wants it to. The crowd loudly boos that. Roman Reigns thought he could take it from him, and they had to glue his face back together. Triple H hoped Ambrose would learn, so maybe has to make another trip over to the commentary table. Ambrose says he’ll stand on the table on Saturday and hold the championship high. When he does that, Triple H can suck it! Triple H says Road Block is just a clever name that some idiot in marketing came up with. It has nothing to do with Ambrose. Ambrose isn’t a roadblock. He’s more of a speed bump or a pothole. Ambrose and Reigns are a lot alike. They have a temper and a problem with Authority. Triple H asks how that worked out for Roman. Those that don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Ambrose says Triple H sounds like his history teacher. Triple H says being delusional will get him hurt. Ambrose says he’d rather be delusional than whatever Triple H is.

Triple H says he’s driven. You can say whatever you want. He’s driven by money, power, and success. However you say it, he’s driven. That’s what makes Triple H what he is, and makes Ambrose what he is. Ambrose says Triple H should come to the ring and tell him to his face so he can hear him a little better. The crowd chants, “Ambrose.” Triple H asks if the crowd wants to see him fight Ambrose. Triple H says he fights on his time. Ambrose will get his shot this Saturday at Road Block. Until then, he’ll do what successful people do. It’s something the people of Chicago would know nothing about. Triple H is going to delegate that Ambrose goes one-on-one with the new face of fear, Bray Wyatt. Whether he learns it tonight or at Road Block, Ambrose will come face-to-face with reality. The reality is The Authority always wins. Triple H then walks off.
