The show opens with a backstage look at earlier today where WWE stars are having a Fourth of July part. The Vaudevillains are singing on a stage and they get food thrown at them. The Miz and Maryse interrupts. Miz said today isn’t about food fights. They get food thrown at them. A huge food fight breaks out in the room. We see Kevin Owens hiding under a table and grabbing a bag of chips. Big Cass drops a punch bowl over Bo Dallas. Big Show throws ribs at Kane by accident. Heath Slater throws food at both and they chokeslam him through a food table. We see all of the WWE stars exiting the room. Owens emerges from under the table and looks over at Slater laughing. Owens adds, “This would never happen on Canada Day.” A pie gets thrown in the face of Owens and he goes crazy throwing tables and chairs over.

A graphic opening hits introducing RAW. We go live to Columbus where a huge display of pyro goes off. Michael Cole welcomes us to the show fresh off a food fight.

Lilian Garcia sings the National Anthem.

WWE United States Champion Rusev is out first to kick off the show. Titus is out next in full U.S.A. Apollo Creed gear as we head to a commercial break.

Rusev (c) w/ Lana vs. Titus O’Neil

Lock up and Rusev gets in a big knee to the gut of Titus. Rusev with kicks to Titus in the corner. Titus with a scoop slam on Rusev. Titus with a big chop and hip toss on Rusev from the corner. Titus with another chop and more shots to Rusev in the other corner. Another huge toss by Titus. Rusev catches Titus with a big boot and then dumps him over the top rope. We see a shot of Lana smiling and clapping at ringside. On the outside, Rusev launches Titus into the steel ring steps. The referee starts the count as Rusev rolls back in. Titus rolls back in at the 8 count. Rusev catches Titus with a quick drop kick and goes to a headlock keeping Titus grounded after a pinfall attempt resulted in a two count. Titus with big right hands and Rusev returns with rights of his own. Titus with a big shoulder tackle, clothesline and big boot on Rusev. Titus splashes Rusev in the corner, lifts Rusev up to his shoulder, Rusev jumps down and Titus catches Rusev with a snap powerslam. Titus connects with the Clash of the Titus and Rusev kicks out after two reaching for the bottom rope. Rusev catches Titus with a big kick to the head. Rusev with a second kick that drops Titus. Rusev stomps on the lower back of Titus and applies The Accolade. Titus is trying to fight out, but eventually taps out.

Winner and still WWE United States Champion: Rusev

After the match, Rusev again applies The Accolade on Titus O’Neil. Rusev then grabs a mic and leads a “USA!” chant. He tells the fans to celebrate with hamburgers and “little weenies.” Rusev yells at them to celebrate for him. “Happy Birthday America!” Rusev throws down the mic and holds up the WWE United States Championship.

Later tonight: WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a Champion vs. Champion match.

Also later tonight: John Cena addresses The Club and Team USA vs. Team World.

-Commercial Break-

The Social Outcasts come out dressed in Minutemen from the Revolutionary war. Big Cass and Enzo Amore interrupt. Enzo said it’s only right they give the audience some Star Spangled Banter on the Fourth of July. Enzo rails off all the Presidents and Big Cass leads the crowd in a SAWFT chant.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel w/ Heath Slater

Bo Dallas starts with Enzo Amore sending him to the corner and getting in some shots. Curtis Axel gets the tag and stomps away at Amore in the corner. Dallas gets the tag and gets in some stomps aswell. Tag back to Axel. Dallas with a splash and Axel with a high knee when Dallas throws Amore at him. We see a shot of Slater playing a flute on the outside. Axel misses a shot off the second rope. Hot tag to Big Cass. Cass with a clothesline on Dallas, splash on Axel and scoop slam over Dallas. Cass drops an elbow over Dallas. Cass tosses Axel over the top rope into Slater. Cass with a huge big boot to Dallas. Tag to Amore who comes off the top rope with a splash and connects over Dallas to get the pinfall.

Winners: Enzo Amore and Big Cass

Later tonight: Dolph Ziggler requests a match with Seth Rollins.

Backstage, we see WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte and Dana Brooke heading to the ring. They will be live next.

A commercial runs hyping the WWE Cruiserweight Classic starting on July 13.

Sasha Banks confronts WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte

We return live with WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte in the ring with Dana Brooke. “Jealousy is the strongest human emotion,” said Charlotte. She said everyone has been jealous of her for her entire life and that the proof is around her waist. Charlotte says Sasha Banks is jealous of her and that it must “eat her alive” that she is leading the division. She brings up the crowd support and how chants don’t pay the bills. Charlotte calls Sasha all hype. Sasha Banks is out next to interrupt.

Banks has a mic in hand and says Charlotte might be champion, but she will never be her. Charlotte says she has no desire to be like Sasha. Sasha brings up Charlotte accomplishing a lot this year, but points out Charlotte has never beaten her. She said if it wasn’t for Charlotte’s “daddy” at WrestleMania, she would be champion right now. Charlotte wonders where Sasha has even been and that she isn’t even in the conversation. Sasha said she is the conversation. Charlotte brings up how they all debuted a year ago around this time and that she’s been the champion for a majority of that time. Sasha says a boss is the center of attention, is original and will throw it down, anywhere, any time. She said Charlotte’s reign as champion is over. Dana attacks Sasha and Sasha easily tosses her aside. Charlotte connects with a boot to the face on Sasha. Dana breaks up Sasha applying the Bank Statement and pulls her out of the ring. Charlotte and Dana head up the ramp as Sasha looks on from the ring.

Backstage, we see WWE Champion Dean Ambrose.

WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/ Maryse

Miz with a shoulder block early on Ambrose. Ambrose with a hip toss and scoop slam combo. Miz catches Ambrose with a kick to the face and Ambrose sends Miz over the top rope. Ambrose launches himself over the top rope taking out Miz. Ambrose sends Miz into the ring barricade. Miz then crotches Ambrose over the barricade and then gets in a shot sending Ambrose into the timekeepers area as we head to a commercial.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live as we see Miz keeping Ambrose grounded working on his left leg. Ambrose fights to his feet with chops. Miz with a kick to the left leg of Ambrose and then a running dropkick. Ambrose with a roll up for a two count and follows with more chops. Miz gets the Figure Four applied. Ambrose gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Ambrose counters a neckbreaker from Miz. Ambrose with a jumping clothesline that takes out Miz. Ambrose has Miz up on the top rope looking for a superplex. Miz with a headbutt, runs into a boot jumping off, Miz counters Dirty Deeds and Ambrose wtih a two count from a small package. Ambrose with his lariat off the ropes on Miz. Miz rolls out of the ring as Ambrose fires himself up. Ambrose with a suicide dive through the second rope taking out Miz on the outside. Ambrose tosses Miz back in, comes off the top rope, Miz counters, Ambrose with a roll up and Miz comes back with a boot to the face. Miz misses a boot to the face and Ambrose connects with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose hooks the leg of Miz to get the pinfall.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

After the match, Dean Ambrose gets up on the corner and holds up the WWE Championship. Seth Rollins walks out to interrupt. Ambrose pats Rollins on the back as Rollins walks by. Rollins gets inside the ring and Ambrose turns around on the ramp. Ambrose sprints at the ring and Rollins gets ready for a fight. Ambrose slows down, leaves the ring and takes a seat at the commentary table. Ambrose will join Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton for the next match.

-Commercial Break-

Brock Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam will be revealed on Smackdown this Thursday.

Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler goes after the left leg of Rollins in a takedown attempt early. Rollins with an elbow to break it up. Ziggler with another takedown on Rollins into a pinfall for a two count. Rollins rolls out quickly to regain his composure. More pinfall attempts by Ziggler and Rollins again bails getting frustrated. Rollins with kicks to Ziggler when he returns to the ring. Rollins with a scoop slam on Ziggler. Ziggler catches Rollins with a big dropkick and Rollins avoids a superkick from Ziggler sliding out of the ring. Ziggler chases down Rollins. Ziggler drops the jaw of Rollins off the top rope, Ziggler heads up the top rope and Rollins catches him with a kick to the back of the head.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live as Ziggler connects with a facebuster on Rollins off the top rope. Rollins looks to attempt a powerbomb. Ziggler counters, Rollins hits the corner and Ziggler with a series of jumping clotheslines. Ziggler with a splash in the corner on Rollins and follows that up with a swinging neckbreaker. Ziggler with a quick elbow drop. Rollins with a kick that catches Ziggler in the gut. Ziggler with a roll up for a two count. Rollins connects with a superkick for a two count. Ziggler counters a Pedigree attempt into a takedown pinfall for a two count. Ziggler then drops Rollins with a big superkick and gets another close two count. Ziggler connects with a big spike DDT on Rollins. Rollins avoids a Zig Zag and connects with the Pedigree for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

After the match, Seth Rollins gets on the mic and stands on the announce table. He says the career of Roman Reigns is a joke and demands he be taken out of the triple threat match at Battleground (the fans cheer pretty loudly at hearing this). Rollins thinks Reigns shouldn’t even be in the upcoming WWE Draft. He said Reigns is supposed to be a role model. “But guess what, you are just like he is: you always cut corners, you cheat and you lie to get the promise land.” We see Dean Ambrose remove his headset and stand up on the other announce table. Rollins said Ambrose stole that title away from him. Ambrose said Rollins can just have it right now. Ambrose throws the WWE Championship at Rollins and leaps at him throwing right hands. Ambrose throws Rollins over the announce table, jumps up and connects with Dirty Deeds on Rollins over the table. The table doesn’t break and the crowd starts a “ONE MORE TIME” chant. Ambrose grabs the WWE Championship and holds it up over Rollins.

A Wyatt Family promo airs where they address The New Day. The Wyatt’s invite The New Day to visit where they come from. Wyatt ends adding, “Join us!”

Former Smackdown General Manager Appears

Vickie Guerrero is out next with a loud “EXCUSE ME.” Guerrero is the former Smackdown General Manager surprise tonight. She said Smackdown Live needs a “woman like me.” Guerrero is officially submitting her name for the Smackdown job. She said you can cast your vote of support using #VickieRunsSmackdownLive on Twitter. Security walks out and removes Vickie from the podium. JBL grabs a mic laughing and announcing Vickie’s name at ringside as she is dragged to the back.

Backstage, we see Big Show talking with Team USA. Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, The Dudley Boyz, Kane, Zack Ryder and Apollo Crews are all standing in a line as Big Show addresses them. Big Show talks about how they all aren’t friends, but that doesn’t matter tonight. He starts up a “USA” chant as they all walk off.

-Commercial Break-

Backstage, we see security continuing to drag out Vickie Guerrero when Dolph Ziggler tells them to stop. Ziggler said he’s never seen this woman his entire life as she is dragged away again.

At ringside, Tyler Breeze and Fandango are looking as The Vaudevillains are inside the ring ready for the next tag team match.

The Golden Truth vs. The Vaudevillains

We start with R-Truth catching Simon Gotch with a kick to the face. Tags to Goldust and Aiden English. Goldust with an uppercut to English and catches Gotch with an atomic drop when he jumped in. Goldust with a snap powerslam on English. Gotch sends Truth out. Goldust sends Gotch out who takes a spear from Truth. English kicks Goldust in the face. Truth tags himself in. Goldust lifts English up on the shoulders of Truth. Truth and Goldust drop English down and Truth gets the pinfall.

Winners: The Golden Truth

Up next, John Cena addresses The Club.

A new promo airs involving Darren Young and coach Bob Backlund.

John Cena Addresses The Club

John Cena is out to a huge reaction in Columbus. He asks if Columbus is ready to have some fun tonight. Cena talks about AJ Styles and fans supporting Styles waiting for him to make his mark in WWE after waiting for 15 years. He said Styles failed to stand on his own two feet at Money in the Bank and leaned on the shoulders of The Club. Cena said he knew something like that could happen and now he has to worry about The Club every time he steps into this ring.

Footage is shown from last week on Monday night when Cena attacked Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. It ended up with AJ Styles getting involved and the whole Club attacking Cena at the top of the entrance ramp. Back live, Cena talks about the Fourth of July being a day every American looks forward to and instead, he’s looking over his shoulder and still standing. Cena said he has a message for The Club: you want some, come get some. Cena throws down his mic.

The Club walks out with AJ Styles leading the pack with a mic in hand. Styles pokes fun at Cena whining about things not going his way. He talks about working Tokyo this past weekend and how it was supposed to be a homecoming for The Club. Instead, they saw John Cena’s face all over a big poster. Styles says The Club showed Cena that they run Tokyo and soon they will run WWE. He said that can’t happen until they get rid of Cena. Styles brings up beating Cena at Money in the Bank and doesn’t think Cena is over it. He said Gallows and Anderson are his insurance policy if Cena decides to break out that shovel and bury him. Styles says Cena has no one and that Cena has put himself on an island that no one can relate to. He said most WWE stars can relate to The Club. Styles says most of those WWE stars would like to be beating up Cena like they do and how they have the balls to actually do it. He tells Cena that they will beat him up every week. Styles asks Anderson what he is going to do for Labor Day? Anderson says beat up John Cena. Styles asks Gallows what he plans to do for Halloween? Gallows says he is going to dress up like Bushwhacker Luke…and beat up John Cena. Anderson said he is going to wrap presents for Christmas…and beat up John Cena. The Club all agrees to beat up John Cena for the Fourth of July. The Club heads to the ring and surround it as Cena gets ready. The Club swarms and all three start stomping away at Cena. Styles throws big right hands over Cena. Gallows and Anderson take turns as well punching Cena. Big Cass and Enzo Amore hit the ring. Cena goes after Styles as Gallows and Anderson go after Big Cass and Amore. Cena, Big Cass and Amore clear house on The Club. Cena raises the arms of Big Cass and Enzo.

Later tonight: Team USA vs. Team World in a 16-man elimination tag team match.

Up next: Becky Lynch vs. Summer Rae.

-Commercial Break-

We hear from The Shining Stars who put over Puerto Rico.

Becky Lynch vs. Summer Rae

Becky Lynch vs. Natalya is announced for WWE Battleground on July 24.

The bell rings and Becky with a quick kick to the head of Summer early. Summer fights back with some kicks. We see a shot of Natalya watching the match backstage. Summer starts choking Becky with her boot and then catches Becky with a side kick. Becky with a small package for a two count. Becky with a series of clotheslines on Summer. Becky with a jumping elbow and a suplex from the corner for another two count. Summer with a kick to the head of Becky, misses another kick and Becky gets Summer down applying an armbar. Summer taps.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Backstage, we see Chris Jericho talking with Team World. Jericho wishes them all a happy belated Canada Day. Alberto Del Rio asked who made Jericho captain of this team. They all start arguing and Kevin Owens breaks it up. Owens said he is ready to beat the hell out of some stupid Americans.

-Commercial Break-

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are out next. Kofi Kingston talks about The Wyatt Family being a bunch of hicks. Big E insinuates some inbreeding. The Wyatt Family shows up on the tron. Bray says New Day can continue making jokes or come confront them like men. “What say you New Day, are you men or are you cowards?”  Wyatt said New Day started this and now he must end it. “We’ll be waiting for you. Find me,” adds Wyatt.

Kingston says they accept and they will spread positivity all over that compound. Xavier Woods cuts them off and says everything up until now has been fun and games, but says if they don’t see the threat that Bray Wyatt is to them, then he doesn’t think that the New Day will be able to survive. Woods drops his mic and leaves the ring.

Up next: Team USA vs. Team World in a 16-man elimination tag team match.

John Cena, Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. The Club in a six man tag team match has been announced for WWE Battleground on July 24.

Team USA (Big Show, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, The Dudley Boyz, Kane, Zack Ryder and Apollo Crews) vs. Team World (Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, The Lucha Dragons, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Kevin Owens)

We start with Kevin Owens going after Zack Ryder in the corner. Owens with a big corner clothesline and follows with a somersault to the corner. Tag to D-Von Dudley and Sin Cara also gets the tag. Sin Cara with a cross body off the ropes. Sin Cara with a springboard back elbow on D-Von. Sin Cara with another springboard this time connecting with a moonsault on D-Von. Tag to Bubba Ray Dudley who immediately jumps in. 3D on Sin Cara for the elimination.

Sin Cara (Team World) is eliminated.

Sheamus with a Brogue Kick to Bubba and Kalisto tags himself in to get the pinfall.

Bubba Ray Dudley (Team USA) is eliminated.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live with Cesaro and D-Von in the ring. Cesaro with uppercuts to D-Von. Cesaro Swing on D-Von. Cesaro applies the Sharpshooter on D-Von. D-Von taps.

D-Von Dudley (Team USA) is eliminated.

Jack Swagger is in with a big takedown on Cesaro. Cesaro with a gutwrench and Swagger counters into the ankle lock. Swagger kicks Cesaro away and tag to Chris Jericho. Swagger with a huge clothesline on Jericho. Swagger avoids a Walls of Jericho attempt. Swagger catches Jericho with a belly-to-belly for a two count. Swagger with a splash to Jericho in the corner. Jericho counters the Swagger Bomb and connects with the Codebreaker to eliminate Swagger.

Jack Swagger (Team USA) is eliminated.

Kane grabs the throat of Jericho. Members of Team World hit the ring. The rest of Team USA hits the ring. A big brawl breaks out as we head to another commercial break.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live as Alberto Del Rio hits a backstabber on Apollo Crews. Del Rio drops Crews off the top rope, Del Rio goes up top and Crews catches him with a dropkick on the way down. Tag to Mark Henry. Henry with clotheslines on Del Rio. Tag to Kalisto who springboards in. Henry catches Kalisto and hits the World’s Strongest Slam for the elimination.

Kalisto (Team World) is eliminated.

Kevin Owens is in and somehow hits the Pop Up Powerbomb on Henry for the elimination!

Mark Henry (Team USA) is eliminated.

Zack Ryder is in and Owens cuts him off. Owens plants Ryder with a scoop slam and connects with a back splash. Owens throws Ryder into Sami Zayn. Owens with a superkick on Ryder resulting in a two count. Zayn is in. Owens and Zayn brawl. Zayn throws Owens to the outside. Kane is in and levels Zayn with a clothesline. Owens is in with a steel chair and cracks it over the back of Zayn. The referee announces that Owens has been disqualified.

Kevin Owens (Team World) is eliminated via disqualification.

Owens hits Kane with the steel chair. Kane with a right hand and then cracks the chair over the back of Owens. The referee disqualifies Kane for using the steel chair.

Kane (Team USA) is eliminated via disqualification.

Kane with a chokeslam on Zayn. Kane leaves. Crews with a moonsault over Zayn and gets the elimination.

Sami Zayn (Team World) is eliminated.

Sheamus with a Brogue Kick on Crews for the elimination.

Apollo Crews (Team USA) is eliminated.

Sheamus attacks Ryder and tags in Jericho. Jericho with a few shots on Ryder and tags in Del Rio. Del Rio gets in a few shots on Ryder and tags Jericho back in. Cesaro tags himself in. Jericho gets made and shoves Cesaro. Cesaro with an uppercut to Jericho. Cesaro with uppercuts to Del Rio and Sheamus. Cesaro with even more uppercuts on Jericho, Sheamus and Del Rio. Cesaro with an uppercut to Ryder. Ryder rolls up Cesaro and gets the elimination.

Cesaro (Team World) is eliminated.

Jericho with a dropkick to the face of Ryder. Jericho with chops to Ryder and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus with uppercuts to Ryder. Ryder with a neckbreaker on Sheamus. Hot tag to Big Show. Big Show with clotheslines to Jericho and Del Rio. Big Show splashes both Del Rio and Jericho in the corner. Big Show with a KO punch to Jericho and gets the elimination.

Chris Jericho (Team World) is eliminated.

Del Rio avoids a chokeslam from Big Show, attempts a superkick, Big Show blocks it and connects with a chokeslam to eliminate Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio (Team World) is eliminated.

Sheamus is now all alone representing Team World as Big Show and Zack Ryder remain representing Team USA. Sheamus jumps down and Big Show pulls him up by his Mohawk throwing him back inside the ring. Big Show with huge chops to Sheamus in the corner. Big Show with a corner splash on Sheamus. Big Show with big knees to Sheamus. Sheamus avoids a chokeslam and dropkicks Big Show in the knee. Tag to Ryder who connects with elbows to Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus plants Ryder with a twisting powerslam. Big Show has Sheamus in the corner. Big Show pushes Sheamus away and Ryder connects with his flying knee. Ryder eliminates Sheamus.

Sheamus (Team World) is eliminated.

Winners: Team USA

The show goes off the air with an American flag being lowered and pyro going off.
