Friday Night Smackdown
October 5, 2012
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Commentators: Michael Cole & Josh Mathews
Report by: Jason Namako of Wrestleview.com

Yes guys, its me, your friendly neighborhood indy wrestling recapper, Jason Namako, here to fill in for my fellow staff member Mike TABASCO to recap this week’s edition of Friday Night Smackdown.

So if you all are ready, then let’s get on with the show!

We see the usual intro for the show, then Lillian Garcia introduces the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title, The Big Show!

Big Show makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone.

Big Show: “Now in 4 weeks at the Hell in the Cell PPV, I have an opportunity to regain the World Heavyweight Championship when I face Sheamus”. “Now last Monday, Sheamus was joking around, showing everyone how confident he is because I’m sure Sheamus thinks he has a plan”. “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”. “This is the first time I’ll face Sheamus one-on-one, which means Sheamus hasn’t had the sad misfortune of having his skull caved in by my fist”. “Now at Hell in the Cell, when I defeat Sheamus to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus can take comfort in the fact that he’s joining a very elite group of victims”.

Show motions to the Titantron where we see a video package highlighting the many superstars Big Show has knocked out with the WMD.

Big Show: “That’s fantastic”. “Look at that group of victims, the Hall of Famers, the Undisputed 1st time champion, the Best in the World, the Franchise, the 9-time World Champion, that is a group of people that I have walleyed and they all have one thing in common, this fist (looking at it) punched every single one of them right in the mouth”. “Look at that, look at the size of that”.

ITS A SHAMEFUL THING, LOBSTER HEAD!

That means only one thing as the World Champion Sheamus makes his way to the ring.

Sheamus: “You know Show, thank you very much for the heads up, I really appreciate it”. “But, I’ll be honest with you, last Monday night, I was joking around, I wasn’t taking it seriously”. “You know, I’ll be honest with you right now, my match with you at Hell in the Cell, fella, that’s gonna be the biggest fight in my entire life”. “So, I just wanted to come down here and look you right in the eye and say…………may the best…man….win”.

Sheamus extends his hand to Show, but Show shakes his head “No” and leaves the ring as the crowd boos. Show starts to walk to the back, but then Sheamus gets the mic again.

Sheamus: “Hey Show, you know what, fella, you’re right, everybody has a plan like Daniel Bryan had a plan at the TLC PPV last year”. “Let’s see how that worked out, huh?”

We see video on the Titantron from last December’s TLC PPV when Daniel Bryan cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated a knocked out Big Show, who had just won the World Title from Mark Henry, to win the World Title, giving Show the shortest World Title reign in history of 2 minutes.

Coming back from the video, Show has his head down in shame.

Sheamus: “I don’t know about you, but that was rough, huh?” “Daniel Bryan also had a plan at Wrestlemania, why don’t we see how that worked out?”

We go back to the Titantron as we see video from Wrestlemania 28 when Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds to win the World Title.

Coming back from the video, Show walks back to the ring and when he gets back in the ring, he is now the one who extends his hand out. Then, in a role reversal, Sheamus refuses the handshake and leaves the ring while Show is standing in the ring in anger as we go to commercial.
