AEW announces their next pay-per-view, Revolution sells out in less than an hour

AEW Revolution sells out in less than an hour

Despite having no matches yet advertised, AEW announced earlier on Friday via Twitter (view below) that their next pay-per-view, Revolution sold out in less than one hour.

Revolution will take place from the Wintrust Arena in downtown Chicago live on pay-per-view Saturday, February 29, 2020.

The event will take place in conjunction with the C2E2 expo, a pop culture convention. AEW will have a dedicated booth with special meet-and-greet sessions, as well as other events.

According to F4WOnline, most tickets sold out in 15 minutes partially due to a pre-sale that took place on Thursday, and the sellout would have been faster than an hour had AEW not released some limited visibility tickets at the 45 minute mark.

AEW did note on their Twitter post to keep checking between now and the show date, as they will try to open up seats once the production set up in finalized.

As of this report, AEW has not released any information on the number of tickets sold.

The Wintrust Arena has a capacity of 10,387.
