AEW postpones Dynamite taping in Rochester to July, Blood and Guts also off March 25

AEW Dynamite canceled

As the fallout from the Coronavirus pandemic continues, next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show from Rochester, New York will not be taking place.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo banned most events over 500 people until further notice to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The event has been rescheduled for July 8.

There is no word on where AEW will hold Wednesday’s Dynamite, but F4WOnline is reporting it could be an empty arena show in Jacksonville, Florida. A statement from AEW is expected sometime today.

The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey also issued a statement about the suspension of the NHL season. In the statement, the Prudential Center stated that all events through the end of March will be canceled.

AEW Dynamite was to take place in Newark on March 25 and feature the Blood and Guts match. That event will be canceled. Wrestleview has reached out to All Elite Wrestling, but the request was not immediately returned.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
