AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for July 8, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT with a Fyter Fest themed episode, drew an average of 715,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 742,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 7 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 6 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT, a Great American Bash themed show, drew an average of 759,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 792,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 24 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 13 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, WWE NXT defeated AEW Dynamite in the twenty-eighth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 44,000 viewers.

WWE NXT, headlined by a Winner Take All Match, averaged a 0.20 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.22 rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy, averaged a 0.28 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.29 rating they had last week.
