Last night on Dynamite, AEW announced an 8-man Tournament to determine the #1 Contender to the AEW World Championship.
The tournament matches will play out weekly on Dynamite with the finals taking place at AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 7. Three men have been announced for the tournament so far: Kenny Omega, Jungle Boy, and Rey Fenix.
The next AEW World Championship defense will take place on Wednesday, October 14. Jon Moxley will defend the title against Lance Archer on the one-year anniversary show.
It is not known when the tournament will begin.
