AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership and demographics up for both shows

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for September 30, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 866,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew an average of 835,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 12 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 9 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 732,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 696,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 50 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 38 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the “Wednesday Night War” by 134,000 viewers.

Overall viewership for both shows was at 1.598 million average viewers, up from 1.531 million viewers that watched last week.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by Gargano and LeRae vs. Priest and Shirai, averaged a 0.19 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.18 rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by an AEW World Championship match, averaged a 0.33 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.32 rating they had last week.
