During Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite on TNT, the company began teasing a storyline with Cody Rhodes and NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq has signed a new contract with Turner Sports. It is being said that Shaq was backstage at last Saturday’s Full Gear PPV.
The new female talent who debuted Wednesday night on Dynamite is Jade Cargill who has a college basketball background and has been training as a professional wrestler.
Cargill, 28, has been seen at ringside at AEW events and is also a fitness trainer who has dabbled in some cosplay, most notably as Storm from The X-Men. She also has a certified master’s in child psychology. During Wednesday night’s episode, Cargill was representing Shaq, who is angry at Cody Rhodes for describing himself as a “Giant Killer.”
AEW CEO and President Tony Khan took to Twitter to thank everyone who watched Dynamite. Khan stated that Wednesday night opened a new chapter and that indelible moments are still coming to Dynamite in 2020. A source stated this is a beginning of a new chapter said be the start of a huge shift.
PAC officially returned at the end of Dynamite after being unable to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was positioned to feud with Eddie Kingston over The Lucha Brothers.
The filming of the Elite Deletion match at the Hardy Compound for Full Gear took an estimated 9-10 hours.
There was a huge rainstorm that hit Jacksonville right before Dynamite was to go on the air. There was said to be a “mad dash” to get everything ready for the TV broadcast.
Thank you everyone who watched #AEWDynamite tonight! It’s great to get Pac back in AEW! We’ve made some big announcements & huge matches for next week & for weeks to come into December. Tonight opened a new chapter, I promise indelible moments on Dynamite are still coming in 2020
